Modern look with configurable full panel display. Has has a little bit of getup and go. Some confusion in finding certain features but finally found the manual in back storage that gave better detail on operation.

2026 GV70 - Great Car, Comfortable and Quiet Ride

This is my third Genesis. I've previously owned the 2023 GV70 and 2019 G70. I was in a terrible auto accident in March 2023 with the GV70. I was hit t-bone style and the car nearly tipped over, spun 90 degrees, 3 air bags deployed and I was unconscious. The solid build of the car and SOS system probably saved my life. It was an easy choice for me to purchase another GV70. The redesign of the dashboard is a nice improvement. I bought the Ceres Blue which gets many compliments as the color changes depending on the weather and sunshine.

a GV70 *used to be* a great vehicle

I owned a 2022 GV70 and I loved it so much I upgraded to the 2026 as soon as it came out. What a HUGE mistake. It still drives nice and has lovely amenities but the feature called "Forward Attention Warning" is the WORST FEATURE EVER IMPLEMENTED IN A VEHICLE to the point I hate driving the car. I get the idea of it -- to avoid distracted driving. Whereas other vehicle manufacturers are implementing self-drive features, Genesis has taken the opposite tact and treats drivers like a child and has the vehicle take UNSAFE actions when it *thinks* you might be distracted. The problem is, it is both (1) too sensitive and (2) is easily thwarted by mirrored or polarized sunglasses, not to mention certain normal driving positions where your arm might block the camera. When it thinks you might be distracted, it disables lane assist and cruise control pretty rapidly. Think about it -- if you actually were distracted, why should the car turn off the driver assistance features?? That's when they are needed the most. I've had the car nearly 10 weeks and have barely 1000 miles on it, in large part because I hate driving it. Unfortunately, this is otherwise a great car, but this "feature" is enough to make me hate driving.

Beautiful, luxurious vehicle

I am having an ongoing issue with my stereo and squealing brakes. I contacted the service department about two weeks ago and was told they would take my car in when a loaner vehicle was available. My car still hasn’t been seen for service. I made the decision to purchase a Genesis vehicle after dealing with years of poor service by Lincoln. I was told the genesis service department was fantastic and I would definitely not have problems with their service. I really find it unreasonable that two weeks after making a call to have my car looked at, it still hasn’t happened. This is super disappointing, especially since my car is less that three months old with 1200 miles on it. I’m frightened of what I will be dealing with in the future.
