Nothing that stands out
After owning the Ioniq 5 for a while, I have to say it hasn’t really impressed me. Nothing about the car particularly stands out — it feels pretty average overall. For the price and all the hype, I expected more refinement and attention to detail.
Some basic features are surprisingly missing. There’s no USB-A slot, which makes connecting older devices inconvenient, and it doesn’t have a step-away auto-lock feature — something that’s standard on many modern cars now.
On top of that, the brakes have been squeaky right from the start, which doesn’t inspire much confidence in the build quality.
Overall, it’s not a bad car, but for me, it just feels underwhelming and incomplete.
