Last year before they ruined the styling

Very nice utility vehicle. Looked at the GV70 and with the Caligraphy package the Santa Fe has all the bells and whistles at a significantly lower price!

Solid vehicle with a few flaws

No big complaints about the mechanicals but the rear view mirror cracked straight down the middle from the cold in Pittsburgh and the wireless apple carplay while charging never works. I bought this car after my 2022 was totaled in an accident but my son who was driving got out without a scratch. Safe choice!

Love my car

Have always driven Toyotas or Hondas as an adult. Wanted to buy a Toyota Highlander but the dealer near me had zero I could see or test drive. I had to order the car, pay for it and THEN see it for the first time. That Was NOT going to happen. My husband and I rented a Santa Fe while visiting our daughter and loved it. When the Toyota dealership wasn’t going to work, we went to our nearest Hyundai dealership and bought the Santa Fe that day (well, the color we wanted was in Denver but we committed to it that day!)

You've gotta' love this vehicle! The Hyundai Santa Fe is built well, with all of the latest safety features and comfort features, with the best 10-year power train warranty in the business, and over all, just a great vehicle. It rides well, the cabin in super quiet and it has excellent gas mileage. And the best part, is the cost new! Well below other comparable SUVs.

Great overall but many annoying “features” and abysmal resale value

Although I like the exterior and interior appearance and amenities like the instrument cluster cameras, lane centering and adaptive cruise control, there are many small, daily annoyances that are frustrating. But the biggest issue is the abysmal resale value. I purchased my vehicle less than three years ago for somewhere over $45,000 with dealer costs add ons, and less than three years later, it is worth less than $18,000. I was involved in an accident not my fault where my vehicle, less than 18 months old was nearly totaled by the low resale value and the high cost of Hyundai body parts. The result is I will unload this vehicle as soon as I can and I will never buy a Hyundai again. Too bad, because, overall I like the vehicle quite a bit but the economics of the vehicle are terrible.

Many issues

Sluggish take off unsafe when pulling out into traffic or up a steep hill with incline cruise control always says crash warning can't use it.car rolls backwards when at a stoplight and you remove your foot from the gas pedal just a few for starters

EXCELLENT VEHICLE TO DRIVE

My Hyundai Santa Fe surprised me when I took it for a test drive in 2023. I loved everything about it - Its creature comforts, safety features, and the overall comfort. If they did not change the look for the new Santa Fe (Tail is boxed off) I probably would have purchased one as opposed to leasing.

My car

Hate that sometimes car won’t move without driver having seatbelt on. In emergency would be bad. Also, child lock button on door rest and gets hit often accidentally and no way to turn it off permanently!
