Obvious Imperfections

1. There is a wind noise that comes through my driver side front window. That very disappointing in a brand new vehicle. The dealer replaced the weatherstrip around the window and door and it failed to eliminate the noise; This was my second trip to the dealership. Now a third trip is needed.One expects more from a new vehicle. #2 There's a cosmetic flaw in the material on the top interior rail on the front passenger door.

I had a 2023 Santa Fe and I upgraded one of my lease was up. There’s a few things I would change about the newer model. But I am overall happy with it.

Beautiful Design. Smart Features are a Pain.

The car has a really beautiful look and quality feel. However the electronic and smart features of the car are frustrating to say the least. After sitting in the garage for three days my battery died. You have to look the car doors in your own garage otherwise you get hundreds of alerts in the app. If you do lock your doors in the garage, even the slightest walk by with your phone makes the trunk and doors open.

2026 Santa Fe extended model

Overall very happy with it. Cars a bit too “smart” for me. It’s initially kinda complicated to drive. Takes quite bit of time to figure everything out. I’ve had it a few months and still don’t understand all the features. Don’t like the gas pedal sensitivity at all.

Not Sure Yet

I bought the car in November for of 2025. It went to the service center at Edmond Hyundai in Edmond Oklahoma January 20 of 2025 as the door handles were determined to be drawing power from the battery and causing it to be dead. It is now February 13th and they still have my car. They replaced the door handles but are saying the battery is still showing that there are draws draining the power. Trying to get it to say bad battery so they can replace it under warranty. I have made two car payments and one was recently while they still have the car. I am not happy. This shouldn’t be happening on a 2026 I bought brand new in 2025.

Santi Fe 2026 gas, all wheel

Only major problem is gas mileage is horrible. Avg for 6k+ is 23.5 and that includes 3 long trips on interstate driving.

It has a lot of great features

I like my car that offer luxury features for a great price and you can change the interior light color . Interior design is great and the boxy shape is also great I wish they just designed the back exterior lights better and it has 100,000 warranty when you buy it new and so far knock on wood I did not have any issues with it and I had it since November 2025.

Love this car!

Love this car. It is comfortable, love the option for 7 passengers or a very large cargo area when seats are not in use. I miss my Jeep, but the ease of getting in and out of the Santa Fe has been wonderful for my mother and my father in law. Plus, I got the xrt to feel a little more rugged as a transition from the Jeep. Love the convenience of the automatic connection with my phone and how the car knows when I’m the one about to drive. Climate control with remote start are fantastic. My only complaints… there’s a blowing/flicking sound when I drive right next to me. Must be some small piece of something loose inside the door or window or roof somewhere. It sounds like little post-it notes blowing against the door. Also, the coffee cup “do you need a break” warning comes on a little too often… every time I drive a road with a curve! lol.
