Disappointed

My salesperson called to inform me he had a great deal for me on this corporate loaner. It had 6,000 miles on it when we leased it. My wife and I invested $3,500 downpayment, along with our monthly payments, with intent to finance the vehicle when the lease is up. Shortly after bringing it home, I noticed 5-7 small rust spots on the hood of this white vehicle. My wife and I are extremely disappointed with Burns Hyundai staff. We have lease 5 vehicle in the last 5 years. This vehicle should have been thoroughly inspected before being pawned off as a great deal to our family, especially with our recent history in doing business with Burns Hyundai. My wife and I were referred to this dealership by a friend of Peter Lanzavecchia, the (President/Owner). The staff at the dealership are also aware of this. I even left a voice mail and emailed the salesperson, Christopher Solorio, OVER one week ago, to express my disappointment, but to also give Burns Hyundai a final chance to retain us as customers, since I am in the market for a new vehicle. Christopher Solorio did not return my calls or return my email. This experience with the white Tucson, along with a couple others have been the deciding factors in my family now transitioning away from Burns Hyundai. We are extremely disappointed.

Almost Everything We Wanted

Overall, it’s a nice vehicle with nice features; however, the cupholders are too small to fit standard reusable cups in the rear. Additionally, the light fabric seats are not color resistant and turn blue if you wear jeans. Even after the first ride, the blue wear was showing on the fabric. There are features in other models that would be nice to have in this one. Overall, it’s a nice car but those are two issues that are frequently noticed.

Had issues initially with the hybrid battery swelling causing all kinds of electrical issues that took months to diagnose and repair, but since then it has been a great SUV

Love my Hybrid!

This has been great car for me. 73 yr. 5’2” with 3 daughters with 6 athletic and busy grandkids and a musician husband. Sports equipment, sound systems, theater props and costumes. It handles people and gear! Good power, good on gas, handles the road comfortably.

Exactly what we wanted

My wife and I are retirees. We found that driving a car was increasingly difficult and had hope that an SUV would be better for us. It has been! It has been reliable , peppy and we have received positive comments on its appearance.

Best comfort, gas and ride performance ever!

This Tucson is the BEST for in-town and long-haul trips due to hybrid fuel-saving and comfort. The safety features were a surprise and we love having the ability to set various functions in the settings (e.g. height of rear gate upon opening, notifications in the app, etc.). The power on hills (numerous trips to Colorado) was a blessing. The infotainment center is a great size and easy to use. The only down-sides are: push-button gear changes (still not used to this) some body noise (a weird rattle) when at highway speeds.

Solid, Comfortable Hybrid SUV for Everyday Driving

I’ve had my 2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid for a while now and overall I’m pleased with it. It’s comfortable for my regular driving around town and to nearby trails, and I appreciate the smooth, quiet ride and higher seating position. The interior feels well laid out, the seats are supportive on longer drives, and the tech features are straightforward once you get used to them. One of the biggest positives has been the fuel economy. For an SUV, the hybrid gets very good mileage, which I notice on my normal mix of local and highway driving. It accelerates and handles well enough for everyday use, and I like having the extra cargo space in back for groceries, gear, and other errands. It’s not a perfect vehicle, but there’s nothing that stands out as a deal-breaker. A few controls and settings took some time to learn, and there are small things I might tweak in terms of layout and materials, but nothing that would stop me from choosing it again. Overall, it’s been a reliable, comfortable, and efficient hybrid SUV that I’m happy to own.
