To small

It is to small for all of my grandkids to get in. I told the salesman I need a car that would fit 2 adults and 4 grandkids.

The only complaint I have is the 121HP motor, I'm seeing other vehicles of similar size and price that have more HP and get better gas milage.

Exceeded expectations

The Venue is an entry level SUV, but it performs above it's weight class. The ride is smooth and responsive and the engine provides surprisingly respectable power and acceleration. The information/entertainment system operates intuitively; seamlessly and easily shifting from Apple Car Play and Android Auto with the different drivers in our family.

Almost a 5 star

Great gas mileage and handles all road condition so far. Entertainment system has it's quirks when using flash drive. Seems to want to repeat a folder by default. Always changing the setting. Sometimes no repeat not an option. Wish a folder search option available. Collision warning could be better. My Sonata was much better. Even dealer tech said he almost ran it into a building before a warning came on.

We downsized from a Chevy truck. To this smaller Hyundai Venue.

Still learning all the features on this car. But so far so good. Loving it. Taking it to Texas for a maiden trip in a few days for a month. Can't wait to see how it preforms on the long trip.

Seat belt

When drivers seat is elevated and moved back as far as the limits allow, the female end of seat belt is level with seat making it difficult to connect. It's going to be a challenge to connect when I start wearing winter coats. Let's see if Hyundai reads any of this and has a solution. Maybe an extender for female seatbelt end?
