I bought a 2017 Hyundai Tucson at the end of 2017, and then moved out of state for work. I was trying
to sell my car, after having it for 8 years, and was having trouble trying to sell it because of the fact that we'd moved and the CarFax record showed a change of ownership, even though I was the original owner. I called Phil Long Hyundai and talked with Gene McFarland, and he spent an hour on the phone trying to help me, and ended up sending me all the proof I needed to successfully sell my car at a great price! I was so impressed by the time he spent helping me, and how nice and helpful he was.

I had an outstanding experience at Lee Hyundai of Fayetteville, and I want to recognize two exception
al employees: Michael Kohler and Sherri Williams. Their professionalism, honesty, and genuine care made me feel like I was the only customer in the building, even though the service department was full.
When I asked Michael Kohler for his honest opinion about repairing or replacing my undercarriage panel, he gave me clear, straightforward guidance. He explained that if it were his own car, he would simply zip tie it because the fix is safe, long lasting, and easy to secure again if it ever loosens. I appreciated his honesty and practical advice — no upselling, just genuine expertise.
My Service Advisor, Sherri Williams, went above and beyond throughout my visit. She kept me informed at every step, personally walked me out to speak with Michael, made sure my Sonata was washed when the service was complete, and then escorted me to where it was parked. Her attention to detail and customer care were exceptional.
My loyalty to Hyundai goes back many years. It began when my Ford Escort broke down just outside Marion, Illinois. The Ford dealership there also sold Hyundai, and after towing my car in, they told me it would cost more to fix the Ford than it was worth. They showed me a one year old 2008 Hyundai Sonata, and I instantly fell in love with it — the build quality, the features, the value. I drove that car with pride for years.
After moving to Fayetteville in 2015, I came to Lee Hyundai and purchased a 2013 Sonata, again used but only a year or two old. It was another excellent car and reinforced my trust in the brand.
In 2018, I returned to Lee Hyundai and purchased a new Sonata with all the bells and whistles. Sadly, I lost that car in an accident in April 2020. But the very same day, I went straight back to Lee Hyundai and drove home in a 2019 Sonata. It didn’t have all the features of my 2018, but it served me well.
Then in July 2025, I decided I wanted a brand new Hyundai again. Thaddus Hoffman showed me the 2025 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, and after the test drive, I knew it was the one. By the end of the day, that car came home with me — and let me tell you, it has every accessory and feature one could ever want. I absolutely love it.
And to John Lee, the owner of Lee Hyundai of Fayetteville and Chairman of the Lee Motor Group: you are truly blessed to have employees like Michael and Sherri. They represent your dealership with professionalism, integrity, and genuine customer service. I’m 79 years old, and this 2025 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid will probably outlast me — but if it doesn’t, I will be right back at Lee Hyundai for my next Hyundai Sonata. That’s how much trust and loyalty your dealership has earned.
Hyundai has earned my loyalty over the years, and Lee Hyundai of Fayetteville continues to reinforce that loyalty through employees like Michael Kohler, Sherri Williams, and Thaddus Hoffman. This dealership is fortunate to have them, and I am fortunate to be a customer here.
