I want to share my honest experience with Shorts Auto. My journey began at North Side Ford for an ABS
light issue. They took over a week just to read the test codes, which I had already checked myself. After that, they came back with a repair estimate of $10,000 for a fix that wouldn’t even resolve my ABS problem. I spent the whole day calling around to 30 different places, trying to get quotes for the necessary repairs. Later that day, Shorts Auto contacted me with a much better price on a new transmission compared to the rebuild quotes I had received, and theirs even came with a warranty.
One of the major issues I had with North Side Ford was their poor communication. It was nearly impossible to reach anyone for updates. In contrast, Shorts Auto went above and beyond, keeping me fully informed throughout the process. They completed the repair quickly, even finishing ahead of schedule.

My car had to be towed in. They were able to fit me in. The starter had to be replaced. I, also, had
issues with something getting clogged in the a/c system. They took it apart. They were not able to find the issue though when they put it back together it fixed the issue and they didn’t charge me for it since he didn’t know if he really fixed it. I appreciate the honesty. I would recommend them for sure.
