I had an exceptional experience at Griffen Auto Repair Shop. I received honest auto repair service th
at exceeded my expectations. I took my Jaguar to them after an unsatisfactory visit to the Jaguar dealership in Miramar, I found the dealership's service department to be misleading and untrustworthy. They claimed there was a crankshaft main oil seal leak and provided me with expensive verbal estimates that did not include all the costs. It was obvious what they were attempting, and worst part of all, I could not trust their words or service.
When I brought my car to Griffen Auto Repair, they thoroughly checked it and determined that the issue was not what the dealership had diagnosed. Instead, it was an oil panel leak, and the main crankshaft seal was not the problem at all. Dwain from Griffen Auto Shop was fantastic; he kept me informed throughout the entire process.
What I appreciated most was their honesty. They were upfront about any issues and addressed them without charging me extra or trying to squeeze more money from me. The professionalism and quality of care I received were remarkable. From now on, I will only take my Jaguar to Griffen Auto Repair for maintenance, except when it is still under warranty. Thank you, Dwain and Talon, for your incredible automotive skills and service. You both are true champions when it comes to taking care of vehicles. I will return for all my Jaguar maintenance and service needs.

I would bring parts to have them installed. After checking he says that it was not needed. It was a simple issue just to reset computer. Just recently I took car in for an alignment which was done 6 months ago. They redid alignment something was loose. There was no charge for alignment. Highly recommended Bob Brown.

I found Rocky's Miatamotive through the San Diego Miata Club. My Mazda had a problem passing smog and
I wanted someone who is familiar with Mazdas to work on it. Although I didn't own a Miata, he was more than happy to work on my 2003 Protege5 Sport wagon. We set a date to drop off the car the week of Thanksgiving. He gave me an initial quote and would advise me on the phone once the diagnostics had been done. He phone that afternoon, told me the problem and was quoted a figure that I agreed upon. He had to order a part and being the holiday, I didn't expect to get my car back until the following week. To my surprise he phoned me on that Saturday to inform me my car was ready to pick up and the amount was exactly as he had quoted. He referred me to another shop to run my smog test again and it passed with flying colors. Thanks to him, I was able to register my car. He was a life saver.
The shop was wonderful to work with. They always kept in touch with me every step of the way and he stayed on budget without gouging me with unnecessary repairs like some shops I have dealt with in the past. Very honest and trustworthy.
Rocky's Miatamotive will be the only place I will take my car to. I highly recommend this shop to anyone and will refer other Mazda owners her as well.
