I called several mechanics and had just gotten off the phone with a shop right down the road next to
the new Self Service car wash on Mayport. Just trying to get and idea what my old rust bucket might cost me to get the brake lines fixed. Rude is mild and they said $100-$1M dollars. And right after hanging up I got a call back from Auto Ckinic Auto Repair. Night vs Day in manners, respect and understanding in my dilemma. Do I fix it or junk it. They gave me a quote, ballpark idea. Of course it was a guess because they hadn’t seen the vehicle but the range of costs gave me hope. I could possibly salvage the Subaru. Dropped it off and they spent a fair amount of time and research, guesstimating, pontificating and called me with their recommendation. I said yes. I figured it would just create a whack a mole scenario. But it worked and the car is back to usability. They charged me as they should but the actual solution was 20% of the projection. Wish I had found Auto Clinic sooner. Big Blue and White shop across from Atlantic Beach Post Office! Thank you! Honesty respect and no negative surprises. Refreshing!

Do not normally give reviews, but I wanted to give Legacy Automotive a 5 star for fixing an aggravati
ng a/c issue on my older Honda Civic which has been going on for some time. The difficulty was that it was an intermittent problem, and before finding Legacy Automotive I had some other auto repair shops look at it with no success. Thank you Mark for taking the time and having the expertise to find the unusual cause of the problem and repairing at a reasonable cost.
