Best repair shop in town by far. At a time car dealers are so difficult to deal with, it’s great to have a trustworthy and better alternative like John’s!
I called earlier in the week to schedule our service on a Friday. We were told to drop it off first thing, so we were there at 9:00am, when it opened. After not hearing from them and no one answering their phone when we called, we went to pick it up before they closed at 5. When we got there, I was told it wasn’t done! “What happened?” I asked. I can’t even remember the excuse, something about people calling off. Meanwhile, many people were clustered in the office behind the counter eating pizza. The mechanic told me he doesn’t usually work on Saturdays, but would come in the next day and have it done by noon.
Guess we should have known better than to believe this. We received no phone calls on the status of the car. When my husband called, the response was dicey, rude, and unhelpful. The person had no update as the mechanic was “at lunch.” Nevermind that he told me he’d have it done by lunchtime. We finally got our car back that afternoon, with nary an apology or an offer to reduce the amount we owed. I’m not convinced they actually worked on the car, as the A/C still doesn’t seem to be working correctly.
It was unbelievable, and my husband told the unhelpful woman on the phone that it was the worst customer service we’d ever had.
