This car is a luxury car wanna be

I switched from Lexus ES to Genesis G70 - I thought it would be comparable. Let me tell you the Genesis is not even close. lets start from the fact that everything inside of that car feels cheap but what's worse is that the entire front dash rattles. The engine is mediocre at best and the car feels exactly like a Hyundai. Don't buy into the "Luxury" rebranding it is still a Hyndai. so if you feel like paying 50K + for a Hyundai go for it. I personally can't wait to go back to my Lexus.

I owned an infiniti g50s before the genesis and I definitely feel like I upgraded. Some features were better on the Infiniti but I love my genesis.

Love/Hate Relationship

Genesis could've done a lot better on the electronics of this vehicle. For a 2024, I expected much better. My wife is really happy with the car, but I personally can't wait for our lease to be up so I can give this car back.

G70 2024 Sport Advanced Good Value - Noisy, lacks full comfort. Stereo and Ent system will leave you wanting more. NO wireless carplay in a 2024 vehicle s a big miss, USB connection. Noisy! You will hear the wind noise from all windows. However the Performance is there and its a good looking car.

My Likes and Dislikes of the 2024 Genesis

I like that I can drive it comfortably both day and night. I Do have problems with parking because I can’t tell how close I am to the curb when parking, the front of the is to long for me to see over it.

Worst purchase ever

This vehicle is so SMALL on the inside. My son (5’10) can only sit comfortably in the front seat however, when he’s in the front no one can sit behind him. There’s no room. I also have issues with the car during speed acceleration. Gas mileage is horrible. Prior to this I had an Audi A5. The only complaint I don’t have about this car is the exterior and interior colors.
