Great for the money

Shifting in the Manuel is pretty sloppy and the rear motor mount is so soft it feels like the motor is going to be thrown through the firewall ever time you let off the gas. The trunk is completely separating from the trunk frame even after I had the dealership fix it once. The good is the motor is great and has tons of power and the car looks fantastic. Other than those few things I listed I love the car.

Ok performance

Loud road noise from the tires makes trips exhausting Performance isn't stellar and been dealing with rear left tire losing air psi when temps drop at night

Early experiences with a 2025 Hyundai Elantra N DCT

I am switching from a Honda Type R, looking for an affordable fun car to drive with an automatic, because my left fod has goe numb. That is a tough thing to do, given that the Type R is the best car I've ever owned. If they made an automatic, I would have bought one. The Elantra N is a fun car to drive, handles well and has some guts. I haven't really driven it hard yet - mostly Normal and Sport modes. I have briefly used the N mode just to see what it does. Every thing lights up and there is definitely later shifts with more power. So far so good, but I don't think any automatic will be able to stimulate the driver like a smooth shifting manual.

Fun and Practical

This vehicle has a ton of performance and features all in one nice package for a great price. It's got a functional interior with premium seats and materials along the door cards. I love the Apple CarPlay and wireless charging. The performance is next-level, too.
