Hyundai Elantra sport 2026

Had Honda accord before trying Hyundai I really wanted to like it but the inside feels so cheap and I have the black paint on it and it scratches really easy low quality on the vehicle for what I purchased for 26 thousand will not purchase another again

Pretty good but stalls when starting at times.

I like the car but it does stall or struggle to start sometimes. I am worried it will have problems soon and it sad because it’s a brand new car. Also for it to be SEL Sport Premium trim it has no power seating and basic fabric.

Go For a Toyota if you can afford it

So, I just took the JD power survey about my new car and realized all of the things I hate about it. I ended up with the sport version and quickly realized the Speedometer and RPMs were flipped and I cannot reverse them despite it being digital. And the fonts and color scheme are weird. After grocery shopping and returning at night, when I opened the doors the interior light didn't come on and I figured that I had to switch it to 'on' for when the doors are open. BUT there is no switch to change it. I have to put it on manually. That makes it incredibly difficult to turn off when your hands are full. The Seatbelt cuts into my neck, the headrest pushes my head forward and is uncomfortable. No one can hear when I use the keyfob to lock it. We have to witness it visually (lights blink) or you won't know for sure. Large cups do not fit. THERE IS A WEIRD WING THING to the right of the center console. Hyundai calls this the "right/passenger side console side trim". It is awkward and serves NO purpose. A passenger cannot stabilize themselves from it. You'd have to be sitting to use it to stabilize and then what? Stand up? You can't stand up in a car. So why is it there? The dealer says NO ONE LIKES IT and even they don't know what it's purpose is. They speculate that it is to stop things from falling onto the passenger floor. But what would fall??? There is NO room for anything in the center console! There is Barely ANY room in the driver side door, example- there is some room in the passenger door for a bottle of water, but NOT in the driver side. I used to keep a bottle of hand sanitizer in the side of the driver door but I cannot anymore. And there is NO room in the center console either for anything (like sanitzer). There is some room for 2 phones, that's it! Headlights aren't bright enough, have to use "brights" or strain to see.

New vehicle experience was miserable - it was faulty at pick up

Once we picked up the brand new car and drove towards home - it had severe brake judder - had to drop it back at dealership nex day. Dealership also did not do much to improve the mess up. Did not communicate well, took so long to repair and did not provide loaner vehicle. Brake rotors were rusty and had to change
