Vehicle has bugs that should’ve been fixed prior to production

Passive entry on Bluelink caused vehicle battery to die within the first week over ownership. I contacted Hyundai to let them know of the issue as a simple google search shows multiple others have the same issue and the dealership not being able to address it. Also if the vehicle isn’t driven for 4-5 days, the next time you still it (if it starts) will show a CEL and other warning lights on the dash. These codes will eventually clear but again there is some type of passive draw on the battery causing this. Hyundai needs to address this with some type of software update. They already had a recall due to a 2 year old child being killed because of the power rear seats not detecting when someone/something is in the seat. How is that not something caught during R&D as well?

Silvia’s vehicle

Just after purchasing the Palisade we went on a trip from Virginia to Texas. The Palisade did excellent, was very comfortable and handled the drive with ease. We would highly recommend the vehicle to anyone looking for a larger SUV.

A comfortable “toaster” look

Within 3000 miles, the shifter system malfunctioned and I was 1000 miles from home - the dealership in Mesa AZ finally took the inexpensive part needed off of a new Palisade on the lot so I could get home - the entire repair took less than 30 mins, but I had to wait 48 hrs for the service dept to help me get back on the road - no help from Hyundai motors and they cared very little about my situation- this is my 7th purchase from Hyundai and I expected more

Overall great value

Overall a great value for the money compared to other midsized 3 row SUV's. Hybrid has good pick up and ok mpg around town and on long highway trips. Lots of room for 7 people. Tech is great but not as intuitive as you are led to believe (no instruction guide), we've had to make several trips to the dealership to get things programed.

Great Car/Great Value

Replaced 2020 Palisade Limited with 2026 Palisade Calligraphy Hybrid. Many improvements noted. Very peppy engine. Ride is very smooth. Interior and exterior looks are dramatic. Extremely happy with purchase.

Very happy with purchase.

Car ride is very smooth. interior is very luxurious. Like the new exterior look. The fan speed lights are very had to see so that’s a negative. Position of the parking camera button could be placed closer to driver. HUD is much improved over my 2020 Palisade Limited. The 2nd row seat mechanism is very slow and I understand there is a recall forthcoming for issues. I preferred the manual operation of the 2020 Palisade Limited. The engine seems to be a bit louder than my 2020 Palisade Limited. Seems like there could be more dampening under the hood. I will comment when I take it in for my first service visit.

Very poor quality and performance

Nothing but repairs. Quarter panel is loose, adas is glitchy at best, software is poor execution. Key fobs don’t work.

Love the vehicle, but recalls and battery failures are a big concern.

I love the overall style of the vehicle. The technology it comes with are amazing and excellent value for the price in comparison to its competitors. However, in just the first week my vehicle was dead in my garage. Battery was dead and couldn't be boosted, so my brand new vehicle had to be towed to the dealer where it took 3 days to get the battery replaced. I've had to disable some valued features like passive entry until there is a fix. There are some other issues that I read lots about but haven't experienced yet (air louvers below the grill not closing, wiring harness failures) that also worry me. The latest recall and stop sale for the seat related death and injuries is worrisome.

Great looking car inside and out!!

I love the exterior of the car; the design is great and I like the chrome details. The interior is great looking too. Love the comfortable seats and the touchscreen is large and easy to use. All of the features make this car really special such as adaptive cruise, lane assist, heads up display, cool/warm seats all around, car play, park assist etc. Also, having the hybrid makes it awesome because I get about 500 or so miles to a tank of gas.
