XRT model should come standard with a hitch and tow package. Too many disappointments in the missing options that are standard in most vehicles.

Love the ride and comfort. Need some adjustments to the headlights while on, need to reduce the shadows seen in the road making it difficult to see with your dims on.

A few tweaks needed

So far so good on my palisade. However there are a few irritations that are bothersome enough that had I known before I bought the car, it would have changed my mind. The BIGGEST ISSUE is no car play over Bluetooth. I specifically asked my salesman and he told me yes, it has CarPlay over Bluetooth. But that was a lie. For a luxury vehicle, I should not need to connect my phone via cord or 3rd party dongle to use CarPlay. I rent lower class cars for work and THEY have the feature. I’ve tried using the car’s internal navigation and its awful - difficult to search a business and clunky to use. I have seriously considered switching cars because of the hassle. Next, the keyless entry is slow to respond and I’ve had to physically dig my keys from my bag to get in the car. My family has joked that if this was a getaway car, we’d get caught because we can’t get into the car quick enough (or if someone was chasing me). This is after replacing batteries in the key fob. Finally, the reaction to unlocking all the doors after putting the car in park is too slow. It’s inconvenient.
