Soltis Palisade

I find the ride to be very rough. I can feel every little or large bump in the road. The ride selection makes no difference. Engine noise is very noticeable inside the cabin. Outside mirrors cannot be retracted and must be moved in by hand which is very inconvenient. Cannot life the windshield wipers to clean them. Must open the hood to clean.

Hyundai

Vehicle is good for the price. Only real reason is the 0% financing and the warranty. There’s a handful of features that it doesn’t have which is a bummer. It’s a pain that you have to plug in for Apple car play. There is no garage door opener attached.

Good vehicle. Some of Home Screen is confusing

Some of the safety features are very annoying like the “you might need a break” especially since it seems to come on when nothing should have made it come on. Also the air vents seem like they are backwards when trying to shut them partially

Upgraded but flawed

I previously owned the 2022 Palisades calligraphy and I loved the look and feel of it, including the self drive capabilities. The 2025 model has a concerning issue where the engine revs uncontrollably when driving downhill. I’m not the only person to call attention to this and had I noticed during the test drive, I would not have purchased the vehicle. In addition, the self drive features regressed. I don’t know how or why, but there were bad decisions made to decouple the self driving from the cruise control. Along with that, the self driving does not feel nearly as smooth as the 2022 model. I don’t know if it’s more sensitive cameras and sensors or faulty software and hardware, but I have less confidence in it. Im also not impressed that you haven’t updated the ambient lightning inside the vehicle. I think you had an opportunity to improve upon already good, not great, lighting and missed that opportunity. I have to lower the reliability on this rating because I’m not optimistic that I will have 0 issues with the engine or transmission giving the downhill issues and I live on a large hill 2000 feet up. If this Palisades doesn’t last, I’ll be making a switch.
