Hyundai Palisade

I bought my 25 Palisade new. The car has is all and it’s beautiful. One of the things I don’t like that is supposed to be for safety but almost got me rear ended is the stopping when backing out of places. When I tried to back out of a parking lot into the road with two lanes and nothing coming in the lane closest to me, the car slammed on brakes and wouldn’t let me go. It also doesn’t do automatic car washes well, as you have to push on the brake to put the car in drive from neutral. I also don’t like that it doesn’t have wireless car play or mirrors that fold in. All the electronics really got me but what do you do in this day and age? Otherwise the car is fully loaded, comfortable to drive and beautiful.

Positive ; Safety electronics, sound system, interior features. Negative ; Seats... not quality leather... more like cloth suede... , Vehicle teds to 'float' at times. Poor prep of vehicle prior to pickup at dealership, exterior and interior issues.

Comfort ride

My Palisade has been the best family SUV that I’ve had so far. Smooth ride overall, good power and acceleration, and big enough on the inside. With 7 seats, my family has plenty of space to move around, while still having a big enough trunk space by folding one or both rear seats. My only complaint is it needs wireless CarPlay (there’s no need to have a wireless charger if you have to plug your phone for CarPlay), and the front windshield… it got hit by a small rock on the highway (it is almost unavoidable) and it cracked pretty easy, not like my other cars that have been hit a couple of times and no crack whatsoever. Other than that, I’m pretty pleased with it.

Overall A Good Ride- Some Deficiencies

Cabin is quiet, engine is smooth and has enough power, gas mileage isn't great, but to be expected with the size, weight and 290HP. TSB mentions wind noise. We have experienced this while travelling on the highway. At 70MPH, when we open the passenger window, then close it, there's a distinct air leak that is noisy. The only remedy is to stop the vehicle, roll the windows, then back up. Doing this at high speed doesn't fix the wind noise. Delaership says they can't suplicate the issue, but with the existing TSB from Hyundai, they know it's an issue. The front seats are comfortable, but not for long periods of time. Our 2017 Outback Limited is much better for long trips. The transmission is a bit "undecided" at times, particulary at speeds lower than 40MPH.

2025 Palisades

The vehicle rides well and gets good gas mileage. One annoying item is the black, plastic grill has not held up well, it has may spots where the color has pitted. form insect contact. The service tech said he sees this a lot, but Hyundai offers no support.

Gorgeous on the outside ... iff on the inside.

Great looking, head-turning styling inside and out. Interior is comfortable seating for 7 ... it is second to none. Shifting at low speeds isn't ideal, there seems to be a hesitation in the system of some sort. Every railroad and rough road causes the ABC to activate unexpectedly - I've not figure out why but it is very unnerving. On 2025 top of the line model, I expected a bluetooth carplay so that was a bit disappointing. I also expect USB A to be banished and replaced with USB in nearly every location.

I LOVE my Palisade!

I love this vehicle. Easy in and out. Smooth…. Ride. The only negative I can think of is that stop engine feature BUT you can turn it off, BUT you have to each time you get in and start her up. Oh, maybe another negative would be the engine has to started to raise and lower the garage door. I was used to coming in the garage, turning engine off and then lowering door. Or get in, open garage door and then start engine. It was “different for me with push button controls for forward, reverse, park and neutral. After a year, I am still not fully accustomed to it. I like the camera options too. Did I say I LOVE this vehicle?

Not happy with the car!

I purchased a 2025 Hyundai Palisade earlier this year for my wife, and unfortunately, I’ve been disappointed with the experience so far. Just a couple of days after buying the vehicle brand new, we noticed the alignment was pulling to the left. I took it back to the dealership, and they corrected it at that time. However, the issue has returned and the vehicle is once again pulling to the left, which is frustrating for a brand-new SUV. On top of that, there is an open recall on the vehicle. I contacted the dealership almost a month ago to schedule the repair, and I still haven’t received a call back. The lack of follow-up and urgency regarding a recall is concerning. Overall, I expected better quality control and customer service, especially when purchasing a new vehicle. At this point, I’m not very satisfied with the car or the overall ownership experience.

Pretty good. Not perfect

Presumably, most people that buy this car have kids. It’s always a struggle to get the kids in the car. You should be able to lock in the unlock the car using all four door handles instead of just the front two. Also, there’s a design flaw with the front interior door handles. I’m constantly pinching the side of my skin when I open the door. I’ve never had this happen with another car. Lastly, every other car I’ve had has an option that when you’re driving it, the doors are locked and when you put it in park or when you turn it off, the door is unlocked. There’s some glitch in the system where you have to pick one or the other. So if I have it set to unlock when I turn off the car, but I’m in the pick up line and just have the car in park, then the doors don’t unlock. However, if you pick having the doors unlock in park, then they are locked when I turn the car off. I really don’t understand it, but I’ve never had this issue with another car before and it’s incredibly frustrating. Lastly, your sales associates have to stop telling people that they can lock and unlock their car using the Phone app. One time I didn’t bring my keys with me and I had very good cell signal and the app would not unlock the car even after I called Hyundai service. I had to take a very expensive Uber home to get my keys.
