several recalls

Had the car a year and 4 recalls, 2 complete, 1 parts back ordered and no estimate of time to complete (seatbelts HUGE SAFETY issue), and another that has no remedy for after 6 months. Also the paint on the front grill is cheap and flakes when something barely touches it. But the paint on the bumper is fine. Just cheap black paint being used on the grill. I’ve had 6 Toyotas with 3 having over 200k miles on them and not any paint issues. Paint started flaking on my palisade about 8k miles and dealer won’t do anything about it. If it’s not resolved, this will be my last Hyundai brand and I’ll forget looking at the GV70 or GV80 when my lease is up.

Good Vehicle issue with brakes stuttering and front black grill chips.

Overall a good vehicle. Comfortable, drives well, good highway gas mileage. I have had issues with the brakes stuttering and some chips on the front black grill. Also several recalls have made it frustrating taking time out of my day and trying to communicate with the dealership.

Safety Sensors

Like the vehicle except front sensors did not auto brake when a deer ran out in front of me and caused damage to my vehicle. Hyundai acted like wasn’t their fault and I sent in what they asked for and I got no response.

Comfortable vehicle!

Our 2025 Palisade Calligraphy edition has been great so far. It rides amazing and has a lot of amenities that enhance its comfort. It would have been nice to have wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, but we bought a dongle to overcome that. The paint is also thin and prone to chips. Aside from those two nitpicks, the rest of the car is great for the price point.

Lacks serious safety concerns

When the Auto Start/Stop feature is enabled, the vehicle consistently lurches forward when the engine restarts after stopping at a light or while idling. This happens even with the brake pedal firmly applied and the Auto Hold (Auto Brake) feature engaged. The movement is brief, but it feels like a noticeable jolt, as if the transmission suddenly engages. Both I and my passengers have noticed it, and it is concerning because it feels unexpected and could be a safety issue. Disabling the Auto Start/Stop feature seems to prevent the problem. Brakes feel shifty. Seat belts don't fasten/lock properly. SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUES.
