2026 Palisade Calligraphy - Overall beautiful car, but early problem

The Active Grill Shutters malfunctioned nearly immediately. Danbury Hyundai is attempting to order the wire harness but is being told that because the car is so new, parts aren't available. This has me very dissatisfied. This is a $60k car. Now one grille shutter is stuck up, and one down. I want this taken care of. We had the car for two weeks, only 800 miles on it, and we had to bring it back twice for same issue. Now, the wire harness is not available? Danbury hyundai had the car for a month. My brand new Calligraphy literally sat there for a month, and THEN they said they couldn't get the part. That is unacceptable. I went back to pick up the car. Now i have it with one shutter stuck up, one down, and no estimated time of arrival for the wire harness for the Active Grill Shutters. So that's it? A broken 2026 Calligraphy? Not happy. I would like this taken care of ASAP. I owned a 2023 Palisade limited, my daughters have matching 2022 Tucsons, and i previously owned a 2017 Tucson. I'm a loyal customer and should be taken care of better than this. I want to be contacted and I want this fixed. Here's my number 347-672-5530. Don't route this to Danbury Hyundai to make some ineffectual "follow up" call to me, only to tell me the same thing. That's just going to make me more mad. Do you really want to help? Send Danbury Hyundai my damn Active Grill Shutter wire harness. My advice? lose the grille shutters. Every maker that uses them has problems with them, from BMW to Hyundai, they' suck and they're the first things that break. And for what? a half mile more per gallon on the highway? Not worth the aggravation. Put fog lights down there. More practical. Redeem yourselves... fix this for me.

The Hyundai Palisade XRT Pro - A True Winner

Because of my mountain lifestyle, I've been a Subaru owner most of my adult life. I switched to the Palisade XRT mainly because of the reviews on it --and probably because of some of the marketing by Hyundai. I have to tell you, "My switch was worth it." There is so much to like about this vehicle: power, comfort, handling, etc. In essence, the owner of an XRT has a vehicle that can travel smoothly down a highway and go off road when needed. There are a few of drawbacks, but two them may be in the options offered on my XRT. 1. Transmission. It is true that taking off from a standstill in all modes of operation except My Drive has a problem from first to second gears. But you can eliminate this simply by driving in My Drive. 2. I've always wanted rearview mirrors that retracted when the vehicle turned off. Unfortunately, the XRT does not come with thses, although I was certain it would given its advertised terrains. 3. While the XRT comes with a dynamic GPS and Navigation system, it does not have a "Trip" odomoter option. You can only get a summary of your current trip, from start to stop, once you turn off the vehicle, but you cannot save the info or accumulate it, say with a Trip A and a Trip B option. I hope this small review is helpful. If I had to do it over again, I would certainly buy the Hyundai Palsiade XRT once more.

Awesome vehicle....need a storage container on console like old version new lift up is not very user friendly and get rid of the UV button...no one uses it...make that a pocket to hold miscellaneous items.

Exceptional ride and styling

We have owned many Hyundai vehicles, this by far is the cream of the crop, the features, the smooth ride, the styling are all top notch. The only negative thing that we have is the phone charging pad is not large enough for the larger phones with cases. Other than that, it is an exceptional vehicle and would recommend a Palisade to anyone.

Overall very satisfied with the vehicle - styling, performance, and value. The disappointing items are: 1 - the front roof sun shade is manual, not automatic; 2 - the control buttons to left of steering column are difficult yo see and well lighted, 3 - in general all control buttons are not well lighted, specially when activated; 4 - too few map display options and some are hard to see because of dark background; 5 - I found the instructions and information for the infotainment system's functionality to not be detailed enough to fully describe functions / capabilities.
