Engine

Engine light has come on a few times during wet weather. This has caused my car to hesitate and chug until it is turned off. When turned back on it goes away. I’ve had to put dry gas in twice hoping that this was the issue. I never had to do this with my previous palisade, which was a 2021. Dealer said not to worry unless my e fine light stays on. But this is not normal for a brand new vehicle.

Elegant 3row Palisade Calligraphy V6

This elegant 3rd row feels and handles like the more expensive European 3rd row counterparts. It is well designed with much safety and comfort in mind, with tons of features and cameras. My favorite is the enhanced cruise control which basically drives by itself, excellent for road trips The acceleration has been criticized by some but it is more than adequate and you can adjust your driving style to Sport if you like rapid acceleration, but it is not a sports car and was never intended to be one. The design caught my eye when I first saw it and I still love it.

Nice vehicle but not so happy that the transmission needs replacement

My brand new 2026 Hyundai Palisade needs a new transmission after 2,732 miles which i believe is unheard of.

Need more power and better gas mileage

The motor is underpowered and the gas mileage is poor. I had a Ford Explorer that had a much better motor and got a lot better gas mileage. May be going back to Ford.
