Don't use the trailer hitch

Hate that it slams on the brakes when you have a bike rack attached. And when you disable the parking sensor and parking assist controls they reingage. I dread hauling a trailer.

Fuel economy

I have fill up four times now and although itā€™s been all city driving, I am only averaging 12.3 mpg in the eco mode.

The Palisade was nice but it should've been nicer considering that Hyundai didn't step up and do the right thing for me after my 2012 Tucson reached 1 million miles on the original engine.

My fancy car for a normal price

Everyone who gets in my car says Wow! This is nice! I have almost 95% of expensive car features. The inside finishes are lovely. Smooth ride. Only the changes (had a 2021 calligraphy palisade)to how my iPhone connects with the Hyundai entertainment system are annoying. But the extra features in the system including the car camera system, make up for it.

Got a lemon

Multiple problems with this vehicle in the first 5zk miles. Consumed all oil. Screen goes completely blank/black. Sensors not working properly and more.

15,000 mile review

Main issue so far is the DTC for the air induction system (air flappers). Been to the dealership four (4) times and left and right air induction flappers replaced and still the system runs alerts and once in awhile the check engine light flashes.

I love my new ride! Iā€™ve had it for 1 year, 2 mos, with around 6100 original miles driven. It rides extremely well, both on city & highway roads. There is more than enough room for lots of people or vacation things.

Defect from the factory on the exterior paint. They did eventually fix the issues but the communication and lack of caring to make it right was brutal. Dealer did not paint the entire car, which would have been the right thing to do.
