Glitch

After ten days, I was filling it with gas and I put the car in gear and would not move. It felt like the front wheels were locked and the back was trying to push the car. After talking to Hyundai we decide to get it towed. I called a couple of dealers nearby and since I didn't buy it there it was a week for repairs. After about 45 minutes turning the car off & on trying to move it forward, I decided to put the car in reverse and it moved. Stop moving in reverse moved the selector to Drive and the car moved but now my engine light is on yellow. Talked to Lester Glenn (dealer) and they set up an appointment for the next day. After driving the car home (a 2 hour drive) the engine light turn off. Drove to Dealer they did diagnostic tests and there analysis was an electrical glitch, as all codes (13) were cleared.

I absolutely loved my Palisade Calligraphy. The only thing I did noy like is it was horrible in gas (only averaging 13-15mpg in town). We loved, loved our new car, but unfortunately we lost (total loss) it in a terrible car accident only 3 months after getting it. It kept my 4year old and I very safe considering the impact of the collision. Our "Sadie" saved our lives. Will be forever thankful that we were in that vehicle in such a bad car crash, otherwise things could have been much more devastating. I am so hesrt broken to have lost our Palisade, but so grateful it did its job well when we needed it to.

Zero Dealership Service

Car has been in shop since 7 August and still not fixed. Called Corporate and filed for Lemon Law under MS State Law. Very sad. I had ordered this vehicle LAST August. Very Very disappointed

Intemittent failure to start on demand

Between 6/8/26 and 7/28,26, my 2026 Palisade spent a combined 24 days at two different Hyundai dealers due to intermittent failures to start on demand. During one of my many in-person discussions with dealer service representatives, the owner of another 2026 Palisade arrived with the same problem. Eventually, Hyundai issued a maintenance directive about chronic starting problems, and an electronic control module was replaced.

Hyundai Palisade

A better design for the rear hitch cover on the calligraphy model would be great. It leaves a very unfinished look when removed. A snap in beauty ring would be nice. Some controls are hard to reach from the driver seat such as the parking assist camera button. Re enable the rear folding seats from the driver display. Fix the issue with flap control and oil low indicator.
