The exhaust on my car was leaking. When I arrived at the shop, I was told that there were two cars ah
ead of me, and it could be 2 hours before my car was ready. I walked to a party store for a coke. I was gone maybe 10 minutes. When I got back, they had my car on the hoist and working on it. I broke down mid road trip in little ol’ Christiansburg VA. I was worried about finding an honest mec
hanic in a town I had never been to especially because I had no time to do research. Modern Automotive was the first place that came up in Google and I went there. I was in good hands. I first spoke with Thomas Morris who immediately put me at ease with his honesty and genuine problem-solving attitude. I left my car with them and continued on my trip in a rental.
Through a series of MY mistakes and lack of ability to figure out how to get my car back once they had completed the work, it was left there for far more than the original time I thought it would be. But they were extremely gracious with me and helped me figure out a good solution. During this time I spoke much with Chuck Swain (Owner) over the phone. He was incredibly generous, good-hearted and honest toward me. It was so refreshing to meet honest businessmen like these, and I would recommend their service to anyone. Thank you guys.
