After years of coming to this shop, I'm looking elsewhere

Pros:
- Fair market oil changes
- great for low maintenance vehicles
- probably great for trucks
- they try to make it right when confronted

Cons:
- will absolutely use mismatching parts (control arms)
- just did strut work because I mentioned the word struts
- when I got my car back, the brakes were rubbing against my wheel hub
- they fixed that (thanks)
- car came out of alignment within a month
- they re-replaced my wheel hub (thank you)
- still not aligned
- finally took it to a different shop, this shop realized the real problem -- CONTROL ARMS
- my struts weren't actually bad 😭
- Lake Arbor replaced a SINGLE control arm years ago and used a MISMATCHING PART (I now have photo evidence)
- this NEW shop realizes this, but then replaces BOTH control arms WITH Tie Rods for about the price that Lake Arbor charged years ago for a SINGLE Control arm with with Tie Rods.

At this point all of my loyalty to Lake Arbor is gone.

I am sure this shop is great for mundane or typical vehicles. I think they absolutely mean well. But they are on the higher end of pricing and just didn't do my vehicle justice.

Always Done Right

I have been going to Lake Arbor Automotive for about 20 years and I have had nothing but good to exemplary experiences from day 1. Communication, quality service, fair prices (I've received estimates from other places at times for due diligence) and trust. That is what I get at LAAT and I can't recommend them enough.

Trustworthy and Honest! Great service!

After bad experiences at the dealerships I was lucky to find Lake Arbor Automotive. They do all my work on all my cars, including oil changes and emissions on my truck. I don’t mind paying for service, especially when it’s done right! I would highly recommend these guys and have been going there for over ten plus years.

Quickly and expertly replaced my gas tank that was leaking.

I had run over a piece of metal that tore a hole in my gas tank. A quick call to the best auto repair shop around, Lake Arbor Automotive, solved my problems. Their extensive knowledge and expertise has always been impressive but this journey was even faster than usual and only cost me a few days. Try their service. You won't have to worry finding a great repair shop ever again. I have been with them for years and always impressed and satisfied with their work.

Trustworthy and honest

I started going to Lake Arbor when my brother first worked there right out of diesel college. Now, I've been going to Lake Arbor for many years now even after he has moved on to other adventures. I always feel taken care of! They do honest work and don't overcharge you. I love that I'll go in and they will let me know if things that are wearing out and they give me an estimate up front so that I can prepare for the maintenance or the repair so that it can be completed without me suddenly having to repair it. They have even suggested things like where to go to get new tires or how to fix something that I can do. They have never let me down!

In for brakes

Took the car in because another shop had said it needed brakes. Took it into lake Harbor they checked it and said it didn't need brakes for probably 10000or 15000 more miles. Excellent customer service and quality repairs.

Over the Past 15 Years -Consistently Good

First took our Green Caravan (The Green Monster) in 2007. She would go in a few times a year, especially as she grew older.

She was replaced by a Gold Caravan (The Gold Monster). She too went in 3-4 times a year. Finally, in 2016 she was taken to an abandoned field and put out her misery.

We then upgraded to a Toyota Rav 4 and we haven't been in as often.

But my son's Ford Escape now makes frequent visits. And each time the folks at Lake Arbor have gotten his car back up and running.

They are knowledgeable and our fair. I know when we drop a car off it will be fixed and they are who will work on our cars going forward.
