Please allow me to introduce myself. My Name is Howard Sicilian, and I am the General Manager here at A-Z Auto repair.
I have reviewed your concerns and spoken to my Service Writer Craig, about what transpired and the concerns you have. When you called to set the appointment, he told you it was going to be 1/2 hours worth of labor.
When you dropped off your 2020 Honda Civic, you were informed the Diagnostic charge may exceed to 1 hr labor(Which it Did). You brought your car to A-Z in good faith, as you had an Accessory light on the dash, and also a code for "Brake Mitigation" Code#P2583-76. Misalignment of Millimeter Wave Radar.
A-Z , in good faith tried to scan and Repair the Concern to save you the time and effort of having to go to the Dealer.
However , The equipment necessary to do the calibration is proprietory to Honda Only. Here at A-Z, We try our hardest to be cost effective the changing electronics on modern vehicles as we know how expensive the dealer can be in these situations. We are truly Sorry that you feel there was a mis-Communication in this matter.
