Please read my google review for the full timeline, details and personal opinions
To keep it short, it took 2 months for me to get my truck back, insurance was a major hold up not the body shop, but after I finally picked it up, the entire traction control system was shutdown, the steering alignment had never even been done, when I was told it was completed in person and on phone over 3 times, one of the electronic door locks didn’t work, door kinda sits wonky my bedrack wasn’t installed back to the way it was beforehand, and some other smalls stuff. Now i’m 2 months out from the accident date with a truck that is hardly road safe and is gonna cost me a couple or few thousand to fix. What does all this cosmetic stuff matter for if the underlying mechanical physical structural electrical etc elements are just as bad as they were after the accident, I can only wonder what else is going on that my eye doesn’t catch, I can sum up my experience with the insurance company and body shop to these words from Game of thrones, there is only one hell, the one we live in now

It did take some time to complete the repairs but that was the insurance you picked and not all carriers are the same. We have to work with their "approval" or you would be out of pocket on anything they decline. We worked with them and they did decline the extra mechanical you are talking about because of the rust. The parts are considered a wearable part and were not covered. We took the vehicle to the alignment shop and they said it couldn't be aligned due to rust. And the alignment being off is what is setting the trouble code to come on.
