I contacted Erin 3-4 times prior to bringing my 1994 Ford Bronco XLT there. I talked to someone there early in the morning and we both agreed it was the computer needing replacement because after you disconnect the battery and it erases the computer it runs perfect until it gets hot and starts holding back the 1-2 shift in the transmission. I needed the computer brain replaced. So Erin told me the place to buy it on eBay and I did. I called her back to find out how much she'd charge to install it because it's a plug and play type. It's locater on the driver's side front fender well. She said $150-$200. the part is New with a lifetime warranty, it's programmed to my Vin number. I brought it at 9am and it was Done at 9:45am. When she told me the price I was Shocked, it was $270. way more than she initially quoted. On the invoice it says they did a on it but I didn't see that. I just saw him replace it. On the invoice she wrote they're not responsible because I had them install my part. That's because no one around had that part and she suggested where to get it and I did. The truck runs better but the static sound coming out of the dash is still there.
I was supposed to bring my truck back to have brake pads installed on the front and she said she'd do it it for $150 but I'm concerned it'll cost more than she quoted. It's too bad this happened because it's a family owned business and been around for a long time. I guess the kids took over now running it. I should have talked to her dad because he's a Ford man
