Hello Ms. Davenport. We are very sorry you are upset. But to be fair. Your 2009 Highlander Hybrid was towed into the shop NOT running. Battery was dead ( which will clear all stored codes in the ECM.( engine control module ) We Installed a battery for the engine  so we could start and run the vehicle. After that we could retrieve Diagnostic information from the vehicle we found there were some issues with the vehicle which we shared with you. You say that we wanted to charge you $7000.00 or the vehicle would not be safe ( you kept asking if the was safe to drive out of town ) but we could not say that everything was going to be fine ( we can not GUARANTEE that). That price would have been the TOTAL if you wanted ALL repairs. The time line is 7-10 days o receive the REBUILT hybrid battery pack. Then the time to do the repair. Really depends on work load. ( number of vehicles before you ).  I believe if you read your EMAILS that you would have found that ALL estimates were individually sent. We had told you that the HYBRID battery is between 30 to 36 % life per cell and that it would need to be changed soon. and that at anytime it may leave you stranded. ( we have no maintenance records ) as this was the first time we have seen you or your vehicle. You were upset that you had a TRIANGLE light on and it was not there before but you need tire pressure sensors which you declined repair. As a COURTESY we checked the vehicle again while you were here and found that you had codes for the tire sensors. As to trying to make you panic ( not true )  As a Reputable Automotive shop that has been open for OVER 27 yrs there is no reason for us TO LIE TO YOU. All we are doing is trying to inform you of the items we found at the time we received the vehice. What you do with that information is COMPLETELY up to you. But if we had not told you of our findings and something went wrong I'M SURE this would be a differnt review. ( bad ) But all we did was change you ENGINE battery NOTHING ELSE. Also we DID NOT CHARGE YOU FOR DIAGNOSTICS ($ 145.40 ) VALUE.
