Rude, Scammers, and dishonest
Car dealership

We drove from Maryland to Allentown to buy a car listed at $27,200. From the start, the experience was disorganized and unprofessional. Wayne was rude on the phone, the receptionist was impatient, and when we arrived, four salesmen swarmed us before handing us off to Christopher.

On the test drive, the car shook and smelled like smoke. We even invested $300 of our own money for a BMW pre-inspection to show we were serious buyers. All we asked for was new tires, a remote battery, and a shampoo—basic things before dropping nearly $30k in cash. Instead of honoring this, Chris became defensive, repeatedly saying “cars are always fixed before leaving the lot,” yet still pressed us for a down payment even though he was late dropping the car off. If the work was really going to be done, why demand money first? Driving three hours, it wasn’t unreasonable to ask for a clear date and time. That’s basic management, and they just couldn’t grasp it.

The finance manager was just as nasty and dismissive, then raised the price to $29,200, claiming cash buyers pay more. I guess he thought he was offending us when he said we can go elsewhere - you did us a favor and saved us a clear headache.

There were plenty of the same make, model and year available. They were just the lowest and maybe felt like they low balled themselves but dont’ change when you get to the sale. As money wasn’t an issue, we purchased the other car for 31,000 we really just wanted good customer service and trust that the pricing was what it was. These people ask for 31,000 they got 31,000.

The GM never called us back.

This dealership came across as desperate, condescending, and untrustworthy. If they can’t handle a straightforward cash deal (when we had clearly shown we had money), imagine the headaches if you tried financing.

Their 4.7 Google rating is misleading—on Carfax and SureCritic, reviews are much lower. Vince’s replies to bad reviews are empty and do nothing to fix problems.

Bottom line: beware of this dealership. We didn’t ask for anything unreasonable, but their shady practices and hostile attitude made it impossible to trust them. He can save his response on this review because I guarantee you he’s not calling his negative reviewers back. He’s “busy” and clearly not delegating properly or handling these faulty deals.
