This particular day, I got there before 8am. I noticed the counter was full of slips and keys. Apparently many people dropped their cars off last night. I said I needed an oil change as I’m going out of town. I was asked if I was leaving my car. I said no, I was heading out of town this morning. Mike said it will be a several hour wait. I said oh, I can’t wait. I said ok, thank you. See you next time. I left and drove to one of the gas pumps to get gas. Add I was filling up, Mike came out and said I was lucky, he just had a cancellation. I said wow, thanks so much. I got my oil change and waited maybe an hour. I was so grateful. I’m not sure if he really had a cancellation, or if he squeezed me in, but my car was packed and I was able to go on my trip with a fresh oil change. Thanks so much to Barbers. It is great to have a gas station in the neighborhood with the cheapest gas in town with a nice, competent service department.
