burns does it again-makes up repairs & doesnt disclose work covered by warranty
on my last visit for an oil change for my 2016 tucson with approx. 19,000 miles. the writer came in to the waiting area & told me that the car needed an alternator & belt & brake job(not sure if front or back). i asked him if any of it came under our warranty - he said no it didnt. he told me the cost would be $900 +(dont remember exact amt.). i told him i would get back to him. i went down the road to firestone(where i had gone previously because of the same kind of findings from burns & in that case also the work didnt need to be done. the man at firestone asked me if i had a warranty - i said i was told the altenator didnt come under the warranty. he took my vin # & looked it up & found that it was - he also told me the brakes were fine. so the $900 + from burns cost me $100 deductible + tax. by the way i bought the extended warranty when i purchased the car from BURNS. AMAZING. i am not sure of the date. burns has a record. i have not been back since
