I test drove it, got some more information and returned in a couple of days to purchase it.
I dealt with Cark for the sale. He was great; friendly and knowledgeable. The transaction went smooth and I was told I could get my new Outlander after the weekend. Later that day my insurance company and Clark worked it out to get my proof of insurance to them.
Monday I arrived at the dealership, Clark walked me around, introduced me to the people in the parts department, showed me some options for winter tires for when the time comes, and then I signed the last of the paperwork and Lawrence walked me through the features. Now, there are a LOT of features on the SEL, I'm still learning them, but Lawrence took his time and walked me through what they all do, and how to find them. It was a fantastic learning experience.
As I left the store everyone congratulated me on my new car, and they thanked me for my business, a nice touch you don't see much of anymore.
Now that I have been driving the Outlander for a few days, I have to say, I like it more than I did the first day. It's comfortable, and the fuel economy is actually really good, I'm averaging 7.7/100, and that is the Standard Gas model, not the PHEV.
