Terrible Company based on LIARS
Get away from these lying P.0.S company!!!! Kept our car for over a week and then dropped the price by $5000!!!!! They put us thru calling lien holders and made excuses for over a week. When their lips are moving they are lying!!!! KEEP YOUR TITLE!!!! Bryan blames this one that one and the other one but the buck stops with him. LIARS LIARS LIARS!

Seller beware
I would give 0 stars if I could. Hal and his boy who wouldn’t give me his name are scams. 16k offer originally. 12k offer after they get the vehicle in there hands. And the reasoning is because it is Canadian when I have proof of them knowing it was a Canadian because it was part of the inspection. Stay away. Far away. Not BBB rated because of this I’m sure.

Misled me with their initial offer
I received an online offer of about $18,500 from Car Buyer USA for my vehicle. After visiting a couple of car dealers and getting cash offers from various sites like CarMax and Cars.com, Car Buyer USA’s offer was the highest I received. I discussed this offer over the phone with a Car Buyer USA customer service rep, and after I described the minor issues with the car (small scratches, paint chips, and a crack in the windshield) and provided pictures of the car, he assured me that I would receive an offer very close to $18,500 after their inspection.

For the inspection, I had to drop off the car at an auto auction lot, which was somewhat disconcerting, and remove its license plates. This means I had to pay for an Uber back to my house.

One day later, Car Buyer USA provided me with a report listing about $500 worth of repairable damage to the car. They used this report to justify dropping their offer by about $1,200 to $17,300. This didn’t make any sense to me. They offered to increase their offer to $17,500, but this still put it below the next highest offer I received. As a result, I had to decline Car Buyer USA’s offer and pay for another Uber back to the auto auction lot to pick up my car. Car Buyer USA stated that they would reimburse me for the first Uber trip, but I’m not sure that they actually will.

Overall, I wasted about 2.5 hours of my time and about $50 on Uber rides, because Car Buyer USA misled me with their initial offer. If they had initially given me something closer to their final offer, I could have avoided all of this. If you receive an online offer from Car Buyer USA, just be aware that the number may be inflated to lure you in.

I can’t say that my experience was entirely negative. Car Buyer USA’s final offer was higher than the vast majority of other offers I received, and their communication was good overall. But their scheme of artificially inflating their initial offer to lure me in just left a bad taste in my mouth, so I can’t recommend them.

Quick, Small business attentiveness, Fair
They Contacted me shortly after visiting the Website and I put in the wrong trim level and the Service rep corrected me and actually increased my offer. From their i confirmed I owned the Vehicle and we set up the inspection. Next day the inspector came out, point out the vehicle had previous body work I was not aware of. inspection took 30 min roughly, Car Buyer called me back next day made me an offer I definitely had to think about but after shopping around I found their offer was perfectly fair and they agreed to pick the car up from my driveway. Overall very Easy Process

BEWARE - Dishonest Fraudulent Tactics, Scam of a company
Beware, Eddie Richard lied from me the moment that I called CBUSA. He offered me $56,300 for my 2022 RAV4 Prime pending inspection. Eddie clarified the only way that price would drop was if they found damage to the vehicle, or there was a title issue. The car is 3 weeks old with 1400 miles. Their inspection came back immaculate and the car has a clean title in hand. When the funding manager Hal Ross called me, he said CBUSA would only be able to pay me $54,000 for my car. His reason: Eddie Richard lied about the number and was "never authorized" to change the value of my car. Eddie Richard lied numerous times to me on the phone and assured me that the multiple BBB reviews stating these same bait and switch tactics were fake and that it was only from customers who lied about their cars condition. The owner and CEO Bill Coleman wrote two blanket statement replies to my BBB complaint about how they try to maximize value for their clients, but never addressed the fake offer they baited me in with or acknowledged me at all. Stay clear from these dishonest, fraudulent staff members and company - CBUSA.

Scam, Bait and Switch
Scam! Bait and Switch...CarBuyerUSA made me an offer for my newer Truck (only has 233 miles). They sent out an inspector, who stated the vehicle was flawless, basically a new vehicle. Then I received a call from the buying manager/funding team and they offered me $5,800 less that the original offer. When I questioned why and asked about the inspection I was told the inspection was all positive but that based on market condition he would not change the now lower offer. This all transpired over a 24 hour period, the original higher offer was only used to start the discussion and agree to let someone come inspect the vehicle, then they commenced to try to beat me down on a lower price.

Super and easy to deal with
I was very impressed with carbuyer USA it was very quick and easy. I’m a 62 y o man that still doesn’t have internet or a computer at my house. They made every process very easy and show up when scheduled. They were all polite and explained everything so I understood it. CarBuyer USA prices up to get their foot into your door
I had the opportunity to experience this company for myself. CarBuyer USA initially offered me a fair price for my vehicle so I continued further with the process. The next step an inspector test drove and took pictures of my vehicle and sent them to CarBuyer USA. I then received a call for them telling me all that was wrong with my vehicle and they reduced their offer by over three thousand dollars. My vehicle is over twenty years old but it is a desirable vehicle with only 63000 original miles. I know what it is worth and I also know there is no 3000 dollars worth of repairs to be done. My feeling is the company quotes you a high price to get there foot into your door then low balls the offer afterwards. I would never recommend using this company to purchase your vehicle unless you are in great need of the cash.

Avoid at all cost
Don’t waste your time. These guys used to be somewhat honest at least it seemed like it with first transaction. This is typical fraud business practice offer one price and then come up with bs excuses when they have 3rd party inspector come inspect to not pay what is offered. Problem is when vehicle is in new condition you can’t really come ip with excuses. Don’t waste your time. They offered one price, 3 days later finally say they are ready to do deal after chasing them down just to find out they want to pay thousands less then they offered. They are frauds…. I will be further pursuing as this is a deceptive trade practice that they are taking advantage of people.

Amber at CarBuyerUSA is Top shelf.
Amber at CarBuyerUSA is superior to work with. She is knowledgeable, professional and courteous. 

We have never used an online buying process. Amber walked us through the steps and made us feel comfortable.

I recommend CarBuyerUSA and Amber is Top Shelf to work with.

honest & accurate info & walk away happy

I entered accurate information in their thingy to get my offer for my 2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat with 30,073 miles on it. My offer came out to be $43,378 but after the inspection Eddie offered me $250 more. I sold my car to them for $43,628!

These guys are real, they are honest and they paid me more than any other place AND paid me more than their first offer! How's that for happy?
