When the dealer can’t fix it…..these guys can!
I had a friend ask me if I had a good mechanic. She had a clunk in her front end of her 2019 GTI. Dealership replaced a strut and sway bar end links…..did not find the clunk. She was at wits end with the annoying clunk. Took it to CARS and Mitch, the wizard genius of a mechanic would not stop until he found it. Two things. The last axle shaft put in the car was the 2019 GTI axle shaft, not the 2019 1/2 which is what this car is! He replaced it with the correct axle shaft…..that was 1/2” longer! Cured the clunk and even noticed that ANOTHER noise was there in the caliper and fixed that too!
