Dear Mr. Tolson,
We're sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience. We strive to provide quality repairs and honest communication to every customer.
Your Land Rover arrived with a failed gear selector that prevented the vehicle from shifting normally. After you approved the repair, we immediately began sourcing the replacement part. Our local dealership did not have the part in stock and advised it was on backorder for approximately two weeks. We located the part at another Land Rover dealership in Tysons Corner and obtained it from there to minimize the delay.
Once the part arrived, we prioritized your vehicle. This repair requires extensive interior disassembly, including removal of the center console and surrounding trim, so our technicians took the necessary time to complete the repair carefully and avoid damaging any components. During the repair process, you also requested an oil service, which was completed before delivery.
Your vehicle was completed and ready for pickup before 1:00 PM the following day. While we understand that the repair took longer than you had hoped, much of the delay was due to dealer parts availability and the complexity of the repair, not a lack of effort. We worked diligently to return your vehicle as quickly and safely as possible.
We appreciate the opportunity to have served you and regret that this visit did not meet your expectations. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, I would be happy to speak with you directly.
