My spouse and I have experienced repeated problems with our old Chevy (which is not this shop’s specialty) and thus we have experienced repeated mechanic shop problems and dishonesty from other mechanic shops. But Chicago Motors is truly a beacon of sound advice, high quality work at extremely reasonable fair rates. Before discovering Chicago Motors, the same diagnostic codes and car problems were reoccurring at least monthly and it was an incredible relief to be treated with respect, to receive patient active listening, and to receive affirmative advice from Rick that helped my spouse and I understand how badly exploited we unfortunately were by all previous shops. My spouse and I don’t have parental figures in our lives to guide us and Rick very much filled the role as a decent, thoughtful, honest source of sound car advice.
