Best and most honest shop in the area!
I’m a car guy so I rarely have to take my cars in for service, I can usually do most things on my own. When I run into something that I can’t fix, I turn to Clare Auto Service. I will not even consider going anywhere else! They are honest and do great work! The prices are extremely fair and the work is done right! If you haven’t given them a shot, please do yourself a favor and give them a call!

Oil change
We had our own oil because we have a Dodge and it uses that stupidly expensive European oil. So oil changes often cost a lot of extra money and these guys did her oil change for $25 we had all the supplies but I appreciate it so much having them do it for us. And they were very quick and they were very friendly and I would definitely use these guys again they're good guys good people there

Very quick service. Cheaper than others.
I had an appointment to have my plugs and wires done that I supplied. They got me in on time and had it done in less than an hour. My last plugs and wires were done 104k miles ago and 9 years. I checked 3 different places and they were the cheapest of all of them. Highly recommend.

Had engine checked for possible over heating.
I dropped our vehicle off at closing time. Nick reopen the store for me and got some basic information. We left the vehicle overnight and he promised to check the vehicle out this morning/early afternoon. They did just that and discovered that the thermostat was sticking open on the vehicle. Plan is to get the thermostat replaced in the next few days. Great customer service, much appreciated for their prompt response!

More concerned about honesty and good service than profit.
I was advised by a dealer of multiple issues with my vehicle. I took it to the guys at Care Auto Service. They investigated the concerns and assure me that there was significant life left on several of the issues of concern. I appreciated there honesty. Instead of hundreds of dollars in repairs, they only charge me with a small service fee for their diagnosis. Great guys from other projects, and this one was a clincher..

We will be back!
We thought we had an issue with our vehicle that would have cost us almost $600. Their mechanic looked it over and the issue ended up being our tires. They could have sold us the part we thought was bad, but they didn’t. Their honesty and expertise is undeniable. We will be back!
