Beware
We had a 2025 Palisade with 16,000 miles and we drove it to Mexico. The motor went out the next day. NO ONE in Hyundai were willing to help us in Mexico or USA. It was up to us to haul our vehicle over 1300 miles to get it diagnosed. 26 days later and $12,000 of accrued expensed the Palisade arrived on USA soil. We went to Clay Cooley Hyundai of Mesquite to speak to the management. The saleswoman who assisted us, Anahi and Justin, sales manager helped us by buying our 2025 Palisade if we bought another one. And that is what we did with the promise of getting all our accessories once they had the Palisade in their shop.

Since we had to fly back (a family of 5 during Christmas holiday) we had to leave many personal belongings and equipment we bought for the Palisade to carry luggage, etc. We told the Ana and Justin that when our vehicle arrived at their location we wanted to collect our personal belongings and they agreed even though they refused to write it on paper, While we waited for its arrival, we were charged for $787 for a car we did not own anymore. We called the dealership and spoke to Raef, the finance dept. to tell him about this, Now our bank account was $787 short and we had to rough it out. We were informed that it would take at least 21 days for the old Palisade to get paid off and were told that they would refund that payment that should have not been taken out.

The 2025 has been paid and we have not received our refund. I have called, left voice mail messages and nothing, no one returns my calls. I have gone personally to speak to Raef, but he is never available.

The Palisade finally arrived at the dealership and no one notified us. My husband went inquiring about it and Anahi flat out lied that it was not there but at another shop. She told my husband they had removed the luggage basket for him to take home, but that the Palisade was not there, I still needed the cross bars and she went to the back to ask if we could have them and she came back telling my husband that it was at a body shop. She told him that all the parts that were ours were damaged and he asked who was going to pay for their damage and she just raised her shoulders. He went to pick up the baggage basket and asked the service staff if I could remove the bars because he had the key to them and they told him yes and the Palisade was there in their shop. He took the parts off even though they were damaged. Anahi had been lying since the beginning.

We have bought 5 cars from this particular dealership and we will NO LONGER buy here. This was a very hard and stressful experience for my family and now know we can't count on them to do the right thing.
