Spoken to Very Disrespectfully
I was quoted $1600 to replace the AC compressor in my 2021 kia forte. Over the phone, I attempted to seek clarification on why the price was so high (I’m young and this is my first time having issues with my car), and was asked what I expected to pay and then told that I had no experience, didn’t know what I was talking about, and didn’t understand what it took to run a business. I let them know I no longer wished to proceed and that I would pick up my car that afternoon. I’m not sure if I caught them on a bad day, but I was pretty dissatisfied with the customer service and felt they were taking advantage of the heat to run up the cost of fixing my AC. That said, they were very polite and kind in person.
