The Worst Service Dept. and rudest Owner.
Do your homework folks. I have been dealing with these folks since 2017. I only took my Sonata to them due to warranty work and recalls. The service dept, has been on a steady decline. The service writers are constantly leaving, the service manager has horrible people skills, and the owner ... well, I don't have to speculate why there is such morale problems at this dealership!
There are other Hyundai Dealerships that will honor their customers. Buyer Beware! Remember that other folks are trying to warn you about Crenshaw Hyundai.. Just read the real reviews.

Buyer beware
So basically I bought a 2024 hyundai tucson around March of last year. During the sale the so called deal maker showed me more for my trade in by taking away from the rebate that hyundai was offering. Long story short I owe $40000 on 2024 limited that is only valued at $27000 with 8000 miles. Dont buy new and dont trust dealerships. Trust me!!!

LET YOU CUSTOMERS KNOW ABOUT THE RUSTY 2025 PALLISADES
Please don't delete my review like you did on Facebook! This dealership has sold me a 2025 Hyundai Pallisade with RUST. Need pictures, got'em. Need a video for proof, got that too! Don't waste your time with them, if you have any problems after purchase they get really dumb, really fast! If you are looking for honesty this isn't the place for you, they will sell you anything to make a buck!
Mr. CRENSHAW you should give me a call, sure you can find my number!

Poor service and rude employees
The transmission on my new Hyundai is not working well and I have been trying for 3 months to get an appointment with no luck or help. Called on a Saturday and the woman couldn’t be bothers to take a message for the service department to cancel an oil change appointment.

Over Promise And Under Deliver
It went from "i will get the car written up after lunch and try to at least run the car for some code to get us started. if anything changes or if they get any info on the car i will let you know. have a great day!!!"

To "I have cars that've been here since the 3rd that haven't been looked at and I'm in line behind those cars."

Over promise and under deliver is the absolute worst when it comes to customer service. Just be honest and do right for people. That's it.

Trying to take advantage. Trying to say my sunroof was broken ,and wasn't
I wanted to let you know its nothing at all wrong with my sunroof. It works perfect, I don't know who was driving it. But they need to be shown the proper way to push the buttom.. the car has to be on. Its my car my husband drove down. We was seriously insulted on the offer they came up with. I sent pictures the get a round about in a few thousand one way or the other, I see why no one wanted to do that. We would had never considered your dealership if we knew we would be so low balled. I will keep it and be happy before I give my car away. For you to stick a 25,000 price tag or even more. Thanks jen Delong this is my message I sent the dealership

Service.
I am a long time customer and I have had excellent service throughout the years except the last three visits. The person answering the phone is hard to understand when I call. I am always asking if this is Crenshaw Hyundai, because its never clearly stated or welcoming. The person is a bit rude when trying to ask questions, which is not helpful or friendly. Lastly, is the mechanics professionalism when having a conversation or representing the companies appearance. I have watch from a distance as my car is being serviced to much playing around prolonging my stay which question the quality. I hope things improve because it takes two months to get my car schedule for routine maintenance this last time around.
Sincerely,
John

Poor communication
Approximately two months ago our 2020 Hyundai Palisade (18k miles, purchased with 6k miles on it) began stuttering/running poorly and failing to accelerate at crucial times (especially when getting on the highway and pulling out into traffic). We had it towed to the dealership (Crenshaw Hyundai in Burlington, NC). We were promised a loaner vehicle when paying extra for warranty options at time of sale (we paid extra for it to be certified and given the full new car warranty). However, none were available when we needed one. We were without the car for several days. The dealership couldn’t replicate the problem. When we picked up the car, it was dirty, with grease on the white leather seat.
Around a week later the Palisade acted up again. We took it back to the dealership, this time I’d done some research and it appeared other people had experienced something similar. I presented the info to the dealership and the rear three fuel injectors and the fuel pressure sensor were replaced accordingly. We were promised this time that the vehicle would be thoroughly cleaned before it was returned to us. It wasn’t! There were other, unprofessional issues with service in general but too many to mention here. We were told again there were no loaner vehicles available. I pushed a little harder this time and we were given a Santa Fe. Better than nothing but not as roomy as the Palisade, which my wife needs for transporting items for her business.
A week after getting the Palisade back for the second time the problem returned. The dealership has now had it for a month. We were given the following options by the General Manager: 1 - Wait and see it they can get the issue resolved. 2 - Trade the vehicle in on a newer Palisade (of course not an even trade, as we’d be paying more). 3 – Contact the Hyundai company to inquire about a Buy Back option. I did the later of the three.
I spoke to a representative who told me I would be contacted by a case manager within 3-5 business days. It’s been over three weeks. I’ve called back 2-3 times to inquire about our case and have not heard a word. Neither had I heard from the dealership in those three weeks. I had to contact them to get an update.
All the while, my wife has been driving a vehicle smaller than needed for her business, the dealership is racking up miles on the Palisade and no evidence thus far indicates that it is being treated well by the mechanics who are driving it. So, even if the mechanical issue can be fixed, we’d be getting back a depreciated vehicle, probably dirty and smelling like who knows what! All the while, we are paying a monthly premium to drive something else, something less sufficient.
Between the dealership and Hyundai corporate, the most frustrating aspect so far has been the lack of communication. This is our first Hyundai and first new car experience.

Service and professionalism (or lack thereof in both cases).
Called to schedule an oil change on a new Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy (this is the 2nd new one I've purchased in the past from this location) They said the lead-time was one month for an oil change. Waiting one month would have put the car over the allowed mileage thus voiding the warranty. Previously we had taken another new car (purchased from said location) in for an oil change and they pushed back that it wasn't time for the change (which is the reason we waiting longer this time), although they ultimately did change the oil. This same scenario(extended wait for an oil change) happened with the previous car purchased from the location and when trading for the new one they assured me that the issue waiting one month was resolved and that the location had excellent service. After completing the call with the service manager who stated they were short staffed and the wait was one month, I thought about this for a few minutes and proceeded to call the General Manager of the location. The GM (Greg) stated that they had plenty of help and the issue was them not having enough bays to handle the volume (significantly different answer than that of the Service Manager) After "complaining" for a few minutes the GM became obviously frustrated with the conversation and when asked for his last name he said, "and I quote" "you don't need my last name" and proceeded to hang up on the call. Not professional in my opinion. As stated, this was the second new car purchased in the past year from this location, and I knowingly paid ~$3000 more at the local dealership in order to support the local economy in Burlington and to have the convenience of local service. I am disappointed with the level of service from the location but more so with the comments from the GM and the fact that I received different reasons for the delay from the Service Manager and the GM. If considering a new car purchase from the location you may want to consider the level of service you will receive and the potential unprofessional manner talked to by the GM of the location. I understand that I am just one person and will assuredly be talked about after this review as someone who just didn't get his way...not the case. Be advised

Price gouging
I priced out a new Santa Cruz and they wanted $4k over msrp on a small, gas truck. Sales staff constantly harassed me until I had to block their messages. I bought elsewhere for NOT over msrp and I feel pretty damn good about it.

Crenshaw is our choice
This dealership goes above and beyond service. There was no pressure when we purchased the car from them. The service department has been helpful any time we have called and appointments have been handled with efficient techs. The waiting room is clean and neat for those of us that must wait for service to be completed. We travel from about an hour away, so it is important to us to maintain the safety of our car with excellent service. We highly recommend Crenshaw.
