Dealership Filed Me Twice, Others Did Too
I have a 1991 Toyota MR2, and it’s my baby. I’m the second owner and have always tried to take great care of it. Recently, I took it to the dealership for its 100k tune-up, but afterward the car just didn’t feel quite right. I brought it back for a second look, and while it improved a little, it still hesitated between gears and wasn’t running the way it should.

I then tried a reputable family-owned shop that’s been around for 40 years, but despite scheduling an appointment, the car sat in the lot all day without much attention. After that, I went to another highly rated shop, but they wouldn’t work on it because my MR2 is older than 1996 and doesn’t support OBDII diagnostics.

That’s when I was referred to Dax Automotive. Dax quickly found the issue, fixed it properly, and even recommended additional cost-effective ways to bring my MR2 back to its youthful, responsive, playful self.

It’s rare to find someone who both understands and genuinely cares about older enthusiast cars. If anyone asks me where to go for car issues, especially with classic imports, I’ll gladly recommend Dax Automotive.
