This is a long negative review but well worth the read.
DGDG is the absolute worst dealership and sales people (specifically Hardik Patel) I’ve ever had the displeasure of doing business with. The shady business practices that this group conducts are deplorable. Hardik Patel will tell you lies upon lies to try and justify their actions. We took possession of a new VW from them through an auto-buying program set up with our credit union. The car was delivered one day behind schedule and without any paperwork. Then the vehicles On Board Diagnostics weren’t functioning, as well as the AC and ventilation.
Hardik Patel failed to return calls, texts or emails from the credit union, the auto-buying program and us. Once we called and left messages stating that he wasn’t going to get paid and there would be stop payments on the checks he then miraculously returned calls within minutes. Hardik Patel is the biggest liar and POS in the auto sales industry.
When I spoke to Hardik Patel; he tried to blame the credit union and the auto-buying program. Hardik Patel tried to skirt the auto-buying program through my credit union. Hardik Patel didn’t want to deal with the auto-buying program because they called him on his BS. Hardik Patel then wanted to re-run credit and go through his own financial system. When I told Hardik Patel that I wanted to use my own credit union and this isn’t how the credit union operates he tried to shift blame onto me because I was irate. When I called Hardik Patel on his BS he then admitted that the dealership had knowledge of the failed On Board Diagnostics and AC issues, yet they delivered the vehicle anyway. So heck yes I was irate. Hardik Patel claimed to be a religious man and asked that I not curse (wasn’t going to happen). A religious man would not conduct shady business practices. His god will punish him and karma will come back to him.
Anyhow, after several hours, phone calls and emails, the dealership delivered another new vehicle and Hardik Patel acted like he was doing me a favor by having someone deliver a functioning vehicle this time. Again, this was not until the credit union, auto-buying program and myself made threats telling him that he wasn’t going to get paid. After I continued to call Hardik Patel on his BS, he eventually hung up on me. You would think that if Hardik Patel was truly sorry, had any remorse for his actions or even had a conscious, he would have delivered the vehicle himself, ate crow for his actions and apologized in person. But he didn’t, which shows his guilt. What a criminal. I wonder how many other times Hardik Patel has gotten away with these shady practices and how many times the dealership was aware of it and did nothing.
NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH DGDG AND SPECIFICALLY HARDIK PATEL! SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES! SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED FOR DEALER FRAUD AND BY CONSUMER AFFAIRS.
