DO NOT COME HERE. DO NOT SERVICE YOUR CAR HERE. DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE.

This was one of the worst dealership experiences I’ve ever had.

I came in for a simple oil change and mentioned a noise while turning. They rescheduled me from Friday to Saturday, but when I arrived, the service advisor (Mario) immediately told me they were short-staffed and probably couldn’t help. Why schedule me then?

I left the car, and by 9 AM they claimed everything was fine. It wasn’t. The noise was still there and now the car was shaking when stopped. Even worse, I found spark plugs left under the hood ! a serious safety issue. I called in furious, was put on hold for 30 minutes, then brushed off until a manager (Kimberlina) finally took my call. Her response? No apology. No concern. Just “let’s move forward.”

Before I brought the car back. She immediately said it was “wear and tear” and likely not covered under warranty without even checking the vehicle. I had to push to go on a test drive with the foreman, who confirmed the issue, and still got zero acknowledgment of the spark plugs left in my engine bay. Total cost? $650. Kimberlina’s “solution”? Waive the labor. I had no choice but to pay.

I escalated to Hyundai corporate, who said to speak to the general manager. When I called back, I was transferred to someone named Jessica, who was rude, dismissive, and hung up on me mid-sentence. When I called again, I was told no managers were available until finally, the GM (Sam) called back. He was the only person who acted somewhat professionally. However he did not say anything about his team leaving spark plugs underneath the hood of my vehicle he said they always check before giving the car back … clearly not . When I mentioned how Jessica hung up on me he said that’s normally not like her ! It doesn’t matter if it’s normally not like her it was TODAY and with me that’s all that matters . He said what do you want a refund a discount what are you looking for ? THAT WAS RUDE OF HIM TO SPEAK LIKE THAT! He offered me a refund.

When I went to pick up the check (at the time he gave me), they claimed he wasn’t expecting me until two hours later. I waited. When I asked for my gas tank to be filled (after multiple trips back and forth), it took another hour as Kimberlina said they had to wait for a porter to be free More confusion as they took the wrong vehicle , more delays, more excuse.
This place is a joke. Incompetent service, zero accountability, and shockingly bad customer treatment. I wouldn’t trust them with a bicycle, let alone a vehicle.

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS.

THIS IS THE WORST DEALER THAT THE HYUNDAI BRAND HAS. I bought a new Ioniq 6 car on December 31st and they delivered it to me with 40% of the surface SCRATCHED... they told me what they were going to fix, it's been more than 2 months and now my car is stored in a house, I don't know why? They should give me another new car with factory paint and assembly, that's why I'm buying a new one! I don't want a new car painted and assembled in a body shop!! And the house where it is doesn't look like a bodyshop!!!

IRRESPONSABILIDAD, MALA ATENCIÓN Y MAL FUNCIONAMIENTO DE VEHÍCULOS USADOS
MALA ATENCIÓN Y DESCUIDO EN LA VENTA DE CARROS USADOS EN HYUNDAI DOWNEY.
Compre un vehículo a mis posibilidades, un Chevrolet Spark, aplique en internet y fui preaorobado, luego de ponerse en contacto más de 5 personas, fuimos con mi esposa y vimos el vehículo, nos gustó he hicimos el proceso, claro, como a todos me ayudaron a que fuera aprobado (mi primer crédito), salí manejando vehículo usado pero nuevo para nosotros (aunque un señor alto, mal educado, no me felicitó como a otros), el carro iba mal lavado, tanto que no se podía ver por lo sucio de las ventanas. Al día siguiente me dirigí a lavarlo (pues me dedico a detallado de carros) mi sorpresa fue que tenía cantidad de arena de playa por todos lados, veo el motor y totalmente sucio, me dirijo de nuevo a Hyundai a reclamar y expresarle que me sentía con desconfianza, me dice el encargo (Mateo creo que es su nombre) que no me preocupe y que los ofendo diciendo que siento duda del funcionamiento del vehículo, aun así acepte las justificaciones y me lavaron el carro, esta vez muy detallado y lo llenaron de combustible como cortesía.

A los 3 días comenzó a hacer un ruido o como un golpe en el volante, no soy mecánico pero un compañero de trabajo me dice que probablemente es el empaque del volante, llamé a Hyundai y agendamos cita con el vendedor: Carlos; cuando llego y mi sorpresa que el (según) jefe de mecánicos me dice que lo lleva a Smog, me sorprendo y le digo que iba por el ruido, prepotente mente me dice : cuando vaya manejando lo reviso. Espere 3 horas y me lo regresan SIN HABER REVISADO EL PROBLEMA. Lógicamente me moleste y me dio más desconfianza, pero Carlos (el vendedor) se disculpo y me dijo: YO ESTARÉ PENDIENTE Y LE IREMOS A TRAER EL VEHÍCULO AL TRABAJO Y LE PROMETO QUE RESUELVO, traté de comunicarme con él, no me contestó. SIN DUDA ALGUNA UNA IRRESPONSABILIDAD, Y ACÁ ES; TANTO TIENES, TANTO VALES, o: SEGÚN EL PRECIO, ASÍ TE ATENDEMOS.
(Olvidaba, ese día ya no me ofrecieron agua ni café que por cierto, la cafetera pide el cambio de filtro).
La vida cambia y un día con mejor crédito podemos comprar un vehículo mejor, EN MI CASO, NO REGRESO A HYUNDAI DOWNEY.

Don't believe everyone who puts 5 stars they tell you after you buy the car they give you or give you insentive to put them on. Do not purchase your vehicle here! Save yourself the headache. I purchased a vehicle in September and have had an absolutely terrible customer after- care experience. They don’t care about their customers satisfaction at all. I buy two cars with them and one does not serve the transmission and another pesimo car and they call you to change them and they want to sell you more expensive or they do not help you until their seller recommends that I stop paying and take me another new cone... it may be that the sellers give you that option. Super Bad Service Everyone Should Report Them to the BBS of Los Angeles. and My Cars Are Already in the LIMON Law.

Horrible customer service
I gotta say RUN FROM THIS PLACE . the worst customer service i have ever experienced. And they call themselves "professionals. I took my car in and they never even looked at it for4 days. When they finally got time to check they never even drove it and said i had bad transmission . I explained to Erika what the problem might be that was never written down on service order..bottom line and i can go on and on about no calls back and so on they do not care about Customers they wanna get you out and what happened to Customers being right not one employee back uptheir customers. I brought my care to dealership because i felt they were confident in what they were doing..They dont know shit and dont care. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE

We had a GREAT Service experience. Daniel was Awesome!! We had an appointment on Monday morning @9am. & had our car by 5:30 same day..I Will be honest and say I do not like taking my cars to dealership because of High cost, but needed to in this case. Our Service advisor..Daniel Chavez called my wife and I at least 3 times with updates/options.He was extremely patient & helpful.If need to, I will come back??

Poor service if you can call it that
Took them 6 weeks to fix my car. I had no call whatsoever from them the whole time regarding any update. Once I began hounding their work phone only the secretary ever picked up. Took me well over a month to get my car back. No loaner. No call to update me on the status of the car. I left various messages with the receptionist and not one person called me back till the manager got involved. Low and behold, ‘we barely got ur piece last night we’re working on it, Monday the latest’. Low and behold Monday comes and nothing. Tuesday comes and nothing. I finally fell and they tell me my car is ready for pickup… literally garbage customer service team
