They don’t care about their customers

We have been taking my car to Elite for a few years. We used to be happy with their services. However, they have wasted my time and no longer care about customer service, which is unfortunate. My son dropped my car off for a filter cleaning and APR update. They told us the filter was not in great condition which we didn't understand. So we called APR directly and Elite was informed how to clean the filter, leave it for 24 hours and then send photos to APR. APR would send a new filter for free if deemed necessary. However, Elite kept my car for 24 hours and claimed to have sent the photos, which they did not. After many phone calls to Elite, my son went there today. He was told that the "photos" didn't come out well and that they didn't have time for this. Time for what? To help your customer? To do what was right? To make sure my car runs as it should which is what I paid you for? They handed my son a random filter and basically dismissed him. Such a disappointment. Take your business someplace else. Elite clearly does not care about their customers.

Poor Workmanship and Misdiagnosis

I changed my review from 3 stars to 1 stars after they blamed my low mileage turbo and my dv for being bad. This on the other hand was due to there lack of workmanship. Dropped my car off here for a surging issue, fixing a part that failed under warranty and a boost leak test on my 2007 Audi A4 2.0T back at the end of April 2021. Originally my car would make almost peak boost 16-17psi when my tune was requesting 18-19psi with a surge of boost and acceleration at the higher rpms. Got called to tell me the car held boost fine on a leak test and my diverter valve had a crack which would make sense to my issue. After a boost leak test and a new diverter valve a few days later they called me and told me it was ready to go. Picked up my car a bit late due to lack of workers in the shop and when I picked it up was told that my car now spools very slowly and they insisted my turbo was on its way out. This didn't make sense... the car had 70k miles with no symptoms of a bad turbo previously. Car now has an under boost code that was not there before and wont make above 8psi of boost with less power then stock. Could also obviously hear a huge boost leak. I requested that they look over there work and that they must have made an error due to the car being in worse condition then I left them with and now out of $500. I was told there was nothing they could do and that they could install me a new turbo which is another $1500-2000... I took the car, keep in mind I do live an hour away. After leaving a negative review I was told shortly after that I can bring it back to "make it right" when the owner called. They said they would go over there work but I would still be charged for a diagnosis. I decided to never bring the car back to them and do the work myself after things werent sounding right. Finally getting around to it 2 months later in June of 2021 a close friend let me use there shop to work on the car. Turns out that they not only improperly installed my diverter valve but they forgot to install a spring inside of it which is why my car leaked out almost all of its boost. This fixed my under boost code and I was now back to square one with just the surging issue. Fixed my n80 valve due to a leak that caused my surging issue when they said the car held boost fine. Now car runs beautifully, I called back to explain the issue was a fault on there end after fixing the car and was left with an "Okay, thanks for letting us know". I would not recommend this shop to anyone due to a waste of time/money for misdiagnosis and work they they can't properly do.

Year after year

Been with Elite for 10+ years, when they started out in a Small garage in Medford. 10 years later, and a much bigger “garage” they still treat me and my car the same! Mind you, I now drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and still use Elite! Wouldn't go anywhere else! Sal and Kai are gentleman, and truly care about their work!

Thanks for fixing my brake lines elite Motorsport always done a great job on my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck for that, I will always bring my vehicle’s to there shop and send all my friends there also.

Great service

I've been a customer at Elite for the past 3 years and every time I bring in my Audi S4 they exceed my expectations; from the staff and all the work they do on my car it is always exceptional. They never steer me wrong and always go the extra mile. Big thanks to Frank and the entire team at Elite!

DO NOT HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE OR PURCHASE A CAR FROM THEM OR SUNRISE USED CARS IN LINDENHURST

Purchased a vehicle, or I should say LEMON from Sunrise Used Cars in Lindenhurst last month, and was informed by the owner Joe at Sunrise, that he sold the car for Elite Motorsports. I have had problems with this vehicle within 2 days after picking it up. I called Joe at Sunrise and requested a refund, he refused and stated he sold the car for Elite Motorsports and to take it up with them. Can you believe the audacity? I paid Sunrise Used Cars and he is passing responsibility onto Elite Motorsports and then they denied Joe's claim. I found Elite Motorsports to be dishonest when I insisted something was terribly wrong with my vehicle, they told me to bring it to their location, and was promised a full diagnostic. I requested the diagnostic report, but they refused it, I asked for their Technician notes, and while Frank, their service manager was looking for them on his computer, he conveniently tells me he accidentally deleted them. I'm told the car was brought there for the inspection, yet how does a vehicle with extremely bad brakes, and other issues pass inspection? My vehicle goes back a second time, and this time I give them a diagnostic report from Audi and Elite Motorsports stated their diagnostic was inaccurate, Audi are thieves and they do not know what they're doing. Diagnostic Reports are inaccurate? REALLY? My vehicle has now been sitting for two days because it has a bad leak. Kai from Elite Motorsports promised me he would pick up my car, but the day my car was suppose to be picked up he calls and states, his truck is down. TRUCK IS DOWN? You fix cars, why is your truck down for two days now? Just more lies. Then he has the audacity to tell me to pay for a tow to his shop. My car vibrates terribly, car is leaking oil (I believe transmission oil) that ruined my driveway. AC doesn't work, and I could go on and on.
PLEASE HEED MY WARNING AND STAY FAR AWAY FROM SUNRISE USED CARS AND ELITE MOTORSPORTS. They are dishonest, and they are liars!
The ONLY thing that brings me comfort is... G*d above sees everything, and people like this will eventually get what is coming to them.
YOU SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!
