Great service and friendly staff
I went to Encinitas Smog and Auto Repair to get a DMV approved Certified Smog test for my car. They were helpful, efficient, and friendly. The car was done in less than 30 minutes, and the staff explained what I needed to do with the paperwork and gave me a hint about how to get the registration completed quicker. A good experience overall.

Great experience
My alternator died on the 5, and I was a bit fat from home. I found Encinitas Smog and Auto were open and nearby. I called them and they were able to take my car immediately for an assessment. They did a great job explaining what was wrong with my car and were able to fix it in a few hours and get me back on my way. I am very pleased with the whole experience.

Encinitas Smog and Auto repair was outstanding!!! Preston is a joy! Over the phone he offers up all the information one needs. And upon arrival, I was #1 in line, because I called first to see how long the wait was, and they caught up on cars in line. Repair to pass smog check
I had a great experience at this shop! I needed to get the PCV hose repaired in order to pass the smog test, and they took care of it quickly and professionally. The staff was friendly, honest, and explained everything clearly. The price was fair, and my car passed smog with no issues afterward. It’s hard to find a place you can trust, but I’ll definitely be coming back for future repairs. Highly recommend!

Amazing service!
I highly recommend Encinitas auto repair. Preston offers amazing service and always greets you with a smile. I had both my rear and front brakes replaced and they offer very competitive pricing. In addition, my check engine light came on, and I stopped by and Preston help me free of charge. Great service, You won’t be disappointed.
