Went for a drive with Frank, when I told him that it sounds like you’re running over the rumble strips from the sides of the highway, he immediately said it sounds like a torque converter.
Then he heard the noise, and he immediately stated that was the issue. We decided changing the transmission fluid was the way to go. Turns out it was black as black can be. (Frank) and his team, drained it and cleaned it several times. I’ve been driving it now for a few days, and haven’t heard the noise at all.
