Had my car serviced for a faulty sensor. I explained to Conner that it goes off non stop during cold weather could you please check the wiring to see if its frayed or a connector is damaged. I have extended warranties in the glove box. He said they would check it out. I then get a phone call stating the sensor is chipped from rock damage and it won't be covered by genesis or my warranties. I then asked him if he was 100% sure it was rock damage? Did they check the wiring. He then said the wiring check would be a $250 service charge. That was conveyed over the phone and that they didnt check the wiring be cause of that. On the phone he stated he wasnt 100% sure it was rock damage but looked like it. I then asked if I replaced the sensor like they are telling me I have to, it would be $1250 for the part. I then requested a letter asking for a refund if it still occurred. He said sure and then failed to produce the letter. He then said he would email it. Im still waiting and he won't answer my calls.
