Genesis falls short… OVER PROMISES AND UNDER DELIVERS.
Start/ stop issues since beginning of
Lease. New starter finally put in. Months later car not starting battery dead with 22,000 miles on car. Took 3 1/2 weeks to get vehicle into service in the middle of a Maine winter with the heat also underperforming/ taking a long time to warm cabin. After service was complete the at was almost returned to me with the BATTERY NEVER EVEN BEING CHECKED! When it finally was, I was advised it needed to be replaced ( duh…) and I had to pay 331$ for a battery under warranty for 3 years or 36,000 miles. Had to argue all day and refuse to pay for it until Genesis Consumer Affairs stepped in and told them to replace the battery because it was under warranty. I was on the phone for over 6 hours dealing with this.
