Terrible customer service
If i could i would give a big ZERO. I have never had a great experience here. I am so disgusted with the lack of professionalism that i have been receiving from the service department. Catherine the salesperson is the only helpful professional person. I originated at north shore genesis but switched to south shore because of the convenience. I have had an annoying knocking noise from the start of my lease, that they claimed was fixed after having my car for over a month. I am fed up with this place. The attitudes need to get in check. Can't wait for the car to be up...I will go back to BMW.

Absolutely unprofessional zero service.
The first tim I walked into the showroom, I waited for approximately 15 minutes while sales reps walked right past me and completely ignore me. Not even a HELLO, or sorry someone wil be with you soon. Nothing. I went back a few days later, and the same people were there and I got the same results. An older gentlemen was there both times and both times he walked right in front of me and didt say a word. I reluctantly went back a third time 2 days later. A woman did say hello but continued to walk past me. i tried to ask a question but she walked away. The same older guy was there again and not suprisingly ignored me once again.It wastnt until I walked out and saw another salesman outside. Iasked him if I had to make an appitnment to speak with someone because no one appears to want to give me the time of day. His response was....We are busy, you will have to wait.. Someone will eventually get to you.
Now I get it. All I was asking for each time is, sorry we all have customers. Someone will get to you as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience. Not too much to ask. But I guess they figured they dontneed my business cause they have enough customers. But to be completely ignored each time and then have an attitude like I was bothering him?
Would absolutely never ever recommend this location to anyone. I will drive to Bayside before I give them my business.

Behind inept!
I had roadside service pick up my car on 5/27 and deliver it to south shore genesis, eight days later they have yet to even look at the car.I'm supposed to get a loaner but was told they had none left. This is the worst service I've ever encountered and now they won't even return my calls asking about the status of my car.

Mixed Feelings - Like the car not the experience
I went to Genesis of South Shore because they seemed to have the largest inventory of new cars that I was interested in, a 2022 Genesis G70 3.3T. I got a price they would honor through AMEX/Truecar.

The salesman, Mike was very knowledgeable about the car, he drives the same model.

There was no negotiating as this is how it is now these days, the car was being marketed at over $63,000, and I got a good guaranteed price, $802 over sticker price of $54,320. We agreed to $55,122 +tax, DMV fees and a wheel & tire package $2,208. Grand Tot: $62,643.58 minus $5,000 down payment.

I originally wanted to pay for the car in full but they said that if I were to finance it, they could honor the price and they get something from the bank. I agreed to do the financing and they had me do an application. I'm handed off to Robert, who handles the financing part. Robert hands me a tablet for my signature. He then taps, taps, taps away. He tells me that all the paperwork will be ready for me when I pick up the car the next day.

I arrive the next day and Mike gives me a quick lesson of the car and hands me an envelope containing my paperwork already filled out and signed. Remember tap, tap, tap? My signature was entered by Robert at multiple points, I was under the impression that my tablet signature was for the finance application, not the actual agreement. The agreement now has additional charges that were not agreed upon. Key replacement $1,205, Maintenance $1,525, Theft Protection $1,699 for a total $4,429. (You get 2 keys - what's to replace? 3 years maintenance is included with the purchase. What is theft protection?) I went into his office but he was on his way somewhere and couldn't give me a minute. I've tried calling him to no avail. I'm ending up financing $62,262.16, total price $68,262.16, where I should have been financing $56,643.58, total price $62,643.58.

So, for anyone reading this - do not sign anything on an electronic device without either going over everything on the device or getting a paper copy to review before signing.

Dead battery
My 2021 Genesis GV80 was in your shop for an extended period of time 10 days due to a dead battery. The service manager Erik Sanchez was very professional and helpful. I hope and pray this doesn't happen again, because my loaner vehicle was very uncomfortable G70.

Dec.12, 2016 is when I purchased my 2016 Genesis g80 and for almost five years I’ve had it serviced only at west Atlantic Genesis except for one oil change and tire rotation while traveling. Never had any complaints about service and my repair representatives Erick Sanchez and Rich Maggio were personable and always available when needed.
